Food Waste & Yard Clippings All biodegradable material including food scraps, grass, yard In individual composts it is
clippings, paper towels, Kleenex, lint from dryer/ vacuum, plant recommended not to put meat, dairy
clippings, biodegradable litter. or bones. For industrialized composts
these materials are ok.
Animal waste can be composted only with large municipal
composting facilities.
