Add 4 columns to the right of H and insert column headings TOTAL, AVERAGE, RANK AND
PASS/FAIL
2. Merge the cells in row 1 and format in bold.
3. Align C2:L2 vertically (90°). Apply boldface. Increase row height to 60.
4. Type a formula in I3 to insert the sum of the range C3:H3.
5. Copy from cell I3 to cells I4: I14.
6. Enter the sum in cells I3:I14.
7. Type a formula to insert the average of the range C3:H3.
8. Copy from cell J3 to cells J3:J4.
9. Format to 2 decimal places.
10. Save as Examination results.
11. Sort table in ascending order by last name.
12. Type a formula to Enter the rank in cells K3:K14
13. Save changes to the file.
14. Type a formula using the formula tab to insert pass/fail.
CHARTS AND GRAPHS
1. Click on the charts and graphs tab and represent the data using two different car charts on the
same page.
2. On the same worksheet, select data to illustrate the percentage of students who passed Office
Administration in the first three years.
3. Click on a new worksheet and type the data below to illustrate students’ attendance record
during the last week at a school.
4. Create a single line graph as illustrated below and display it on the same sheet.
