1) Operate within the rules and spirit of your sport, promoting fair play over winning at any cost.
2) Encourage and support opportunities for people to learn appropriate behaviors and skills.
3) Reject the use of violence in any form, whether it is by spectators, coaches, officials or athletes.
4) Support opportunities for participation in all aspects of the sport.
5) Treat each person as an individual.
6) Display control and courtesy to all involved with the sport.
7) Respect the rights and worth of every person regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background
or religion.
8) Respect the decisions of officials, coaches and administrators in the conduct of the sport.
9) Wherever practical, avoid unaccompanied and unobserved one-on-one activity (when in a
supervisory capacity or where a power imbalance will exist) with people under the age of 18 years.
10) Adopt appropriate and responsible behavior in all interactions.
11) Adopt responsible behavior in relation to alcohol and other drugs.
12) Act with integrity and objectivity, and accept responsibility for your decisions and actions.
13) Ensure your decisions and actions contribute to a safe environment.
14) Ensure your decisions and actions contribute to a harassment free environment.
15) Do not tolerate harmful or abusive behaviors. Athletes

17) Participate for your own enjoyment and benefit. Coaches
18) Place the safety and welfare of the athletes above all else.
19) Help each person (athlete, official etc.) reach their potential - respect the talent, developmental
stage and goals of each person and compliment and encourage with positive and supportive
feedback.
20) Act honestly, in good faith and in the best interests of the sport as a whole.
21) Respect the rules of the game or competition.
22) Turn down and denounce fraud or the manipulation of results, always arguing for sporting truth.
23) Always give your best in competition, regardless of the opponent.
24) Consider sports opponents as partners and not as enemies, treating them politely and with respect.
25) Respect your own body, as well as those of your opponents, safeguarding them from any harm to
their physical and mental integrity.
26) Reject doping in any form, thereby protecting your health and preserving sporting truth.
27) Recognize the value of your opponents and congratulate them when they win the game or
competition. Do not look for excuses or hold a grudge for having lost the game but, on the contrary,
know how to use defeat as a means of improvement.
28) Learn how to win: maintain, in your happiness at victory, humility and simplicity and acknowledging
the effort of each one of those who has been defeated.
29) Respect other sports agents (managers, coaches, referees and judges, etc.) and spectators, in all
circumstances and times, during or outside competition, treating them in a respectful and courteous
manner.
30) Be respectful and correct to all entities providing support services.
31) Remember that as you get better results your obligations to safeguard sportsperson ship will be
greater, as these will become a public example of ethics for all, especially for younger people.

Get to know and comply with the Code of Sports Ethics which has been approved by associations
representing the area of activity in which you take part

2) I hereby declare that I have informed my parents about my participation in the


Sports Activites and they have given their assent without any demur to attend the above
Sports Activites.
3) I hereby declare that the certificates produced by me especially pertaining to my age proof and
SSLC/PUC/Degree certificates are genuine.
4) I hereby declare that I am aware of serious accidents, risk and death hazards that are involved in
taking part in the above said coaching camp and competitions. I shall not hold the institution,
University, officials representing University for any of the mishaps/accidents/injuries that might
occur during the above-said period.
5) I hereby declare that I shall not involve in any of the anti-sports activities, like doping and unfair
play.
6) I shall be solely responsible for any of the illegal activities like sexual based offences, violence
committed during the above said dates.
7) I hereby declare that I will neither join in any coercive agitation/strike which has a tendency to
disturb the peace and tranquility of life during the Sports Training and competitions.
8) I hereby declare that neither I will indulge in, nor tolerate raging in any form, even in words or
intentions.
11) I hereby declare that I shall be solely responsible for my involvement in any kind of undesirable
/in disciplinary activities during the coaching/Training Sessions/Intervarsity competitions and shall be liable
for punishment as per the law decided by Authorities. I further understand that the institution/University
shall in no way provide any support to me and will not be held responsible for my any such
action. I, further declare that, my participation in the coaching/Training Sessions/Intervarsity
competition may be cancelled at any stage, if I am found violating the above declaration or if I
am found ineligible and or the information provided by me or found to be incorrect.
