Disclaimer: Please realize that all times are approximations for this week. All rehearsals will run
until the objective has been completed for the day. The Facebook group will update any major
time shifts. All times are subject to change. While it goes without saying: DO NOT MISS
REHEARSAL (Cast and Running Crew)! Please remember all school polices are in effect, meaning
you have to be present for a full day of school in order to participate in after school activities. This
week is about getting all of the paid professionals and technical aspects of the show in place,
please do not waste their time: we are paying them for every minute they spend with us!

MONDAY, APRIL 8 - STRIKE

All cast and crew should be available to assist with strike. You will be broken down into teams to
help break down the show and return the E-wing to its state before the production. Please be
ready to work and come in paint clothes. Expect to be working from 2:45 to 6:00.

Please remember, according to the contract you signed to be accepted into this production, that
you are required to attend school on Monday, April 8th for the entire school day. You cannot miss
school and use the show as an excuse. Missing school on Monday could result in your ineligibility
to perform in next year’s production.

GENERAL TECH WEEK GUIDELINES

• Drinking lots of water throughout the entire week is incredibly important to maintain vocal health
through all of the shows.
• While we are at the school for many hours, use any down time to complete work so you can go to sleep
once you get home!
• You are still a student first, all work must be completed and turned in on time. Do not use the musical as
an excuse for missing work, I promise you that the directors hear about it.
• Staying healthy is paramount, do not share water bottles or food.
• Conserve as much energy as possible: Don’t waste it on random fits of excitement, the more energy you
save for the stage the better the show will be.
• You need to be in school on time, you cannot arrive late during tech week. Additionally, you cannot sit out
of gym during tech week.
• Everyone will be exhausted, understand that your fellow cast and crew members may say things they
haven’t full thought through or don’t mean.
• When the production is paying for someone to be present at a rehearsal or a show, their time is more
important than yours.
• You represent not only the school in this show but the performing arts in general. Do not speak behind the
scenes, even if you don’t have a mic. The conversations we have heard through a microphone a few feet
away are horrifying..
• Have fun, this show is a blast and we only have a limited amount of runs left!
