NOTIFICATION
The attention of the Heads of the D.El.Ed Institutions, listed for admission to Two Year
D.El.Ed Course (Regular/Face to Face) in the session-2019-2021 in terms of our principal
Notification No. 947/BPE/2019, DATED: 29/05/2019, is hereby drawn to the following
guidelines for verification/authentication of on line applications.
All are requested to adhere to the guidelines strictly. In case of any violation of the
aforementioned guidelines, found/detected at any stage before or after admission, the
admission/application shall be rejected / cancelled without assigning any reason thereof.
The online scrutiny and verification as per the given guidelines should be done between 4th and
8th July, 2019
11. 4% (i.e. two out of fifty) of the seats shall be earmarked for applicants coming from the
Vocational Stream Course (+2 Level) under any recognized Board/University/Council or its
equivalent, regardless of categories.

12. Such vocational-course-pass applicants must have studied at least two languages
including English at the +2-stage.
13. Such vocational-course-pass applicants, however, shall not be eligible for other seats
under any condition of backwardness or physical disability.
14. Ten (10) percent of the total intake of a Self-financed Non-Government unaided Institution
shall be reserved under ‘Management Quota’. No such reservation will be there in case of
a Government/Government Sponsored/Govt. Aided institution.
15. A separate merit list for this category will be prepared and maintained.
16. Calculation of Merit: The name of the examination should be Higher Secondary or as
mentioned in the Mark-sheet of other recognized Boards or Councils.
17. The total marks obtained should be the aggregate of the best five, where applicable,
including First or Second Language or both* (as the case may be) but excluding EVS
(where it is not an elective subject).
18. The marks of EVS which is not an Elective Subject, shall not be taken for calculation of
percentage.
19. For determination of minimum eligibility the Grand Total marks (where applicable) will be
converted into percentage. In such cases 500 or 450 (as the case may be) out of 1000
(one thousand) shall mean 50 percent or 45 percent respectively.
20. But in terms of Merit in such cases the best five to be chosen out of the six subjects (i.e.
the marks obtained in the Additional/ Optional subject before deduction may also be
considered as S1/S2/S3/S4, accordingly).
21. If the photograph and/or the signature uploaded and pasted in the application, fall short of
the specified/required size or appear blurred for technical reasons, the verifying authority
may authenticate applications, found otherwise in order.
22. In case of more than one application, submitted by a single applicant on payment of fees
each time separately, in favour of a single listed D.El.Ed Institute, the
verifying/authenticating institute shall invalidate the incomplete one/s and only the complete
one will be taken for consideration.
23. The Board will not consider more than one application of an applicant for one listed
Institute.
24. The online scrutiny and verification as per the above guidelines should be done between
4th and 8th July, 2019.
25. The verified and authenticated list/s of applicants (after scrutiny) should be submitted to
the Board’s login by the respective Heads of the D El Ed Institutes through the system.
26. The Board will release approved lists online from 14th July, 2019 onwards.
27. The admission on further verification of the details with the documents in original will begin
on and from 15.07.2019.
28. The classes will commence on and from 22nd July, 2019.
29. Other guidelines, mentioned in our earlier notifications regarding the process of online
application for admission, scrutiny and verification, approval, excepting the dates, shall
remain unchanged.
