Responsibilities:
QA & QC management and strategic implementation in accordance with ISO 9000 & ISO 9001 with in
construction projects:-
• implementing and maintaining the QA/QC inspections and systems, on all processes and materials.
• Preparing Quality Plan for the project in accordance with Aramco guidelines and ISO 9001 ;2008
requirements and Got it approved from Aramco. Scope of QAP includes Quality objectives, Document
control, Identification & Traceability, Management commitments ,ITP, QA & QC Procedures
• Compile and ensure practical effective downstream implementation of the Project Quality
• co-ordinate all documentation on inspections and activities and conduct material inspection on incoming
material specifications
• Promote quality achievement and a culture of quality
• Preparing Inspection and test Plan for Civil ,Piping and Electrical activities
• Preparing Method statement for Major activities and submitting to client for approval
• Working also in capacity of Management representative apprising management about Quality
Management system in company

June 2006 – June 2007 (1 year 1 month)

As material engineer, ensured strict compliance of construction materials and procedures to


the project quality specifications.
Developed a competent Quality Assurance team and reviewed, suggested modifications for
non conforming products and approved various materials, received from the contractor to be
used in Dubai Metro project.
Checked quality of raw material at source and site as per the decided specifications and the
test/inspection frequency and criteria.
Reviewed and accepted manufacturer's test certificates for bought out items and material
like cement, steel, construction chemicals.
Organized quality management meeting with client and contractor and conducting quality
audit jointly with contractor for various jobs e.g. batching plants, pre cast yard etc.
Conducted regular Quality Audits, Inspection of facilities and capabilities of contractors and
subcontractor prior to approval of suppliers and during the course of supply.
Regularly reported the status of the quality system to the resident engineer.

recommendation.
Inspected and Tested POT/PTFE, Electromeric Bearings as per IS /IRC specifications.
Organise out exhaustive inspection of raw materials. Tested Pot bearing and NDT Ultrasonic
testing and DPT to detect flaws in casting components.
Reviewing commenting and approving the different construction material including Mix
design of concrete and asphalt
Reviewing and Approving Project Quality Plan, method statements, procedures and work
instructions submitted by contractor.
Conducting audits to verify the effectiveness of quality system on the project and ensure
that work is being carried out as per approved quality documents
