Dear Mr. Sio,

I would like to notify you and the company that I am officially resigning from my
position as a Sales Manager for SMDC effective 1 month from today, August 17,
2019.

I am grateful for the opportunity the company and my department has provided
me through the years. I genuinely enjoyed my time with the company, but all good
things must come to an end. The company has taught me a lot about management
and leading other people, the challenges made me more equip and effective.

Next month I will be opening my own retail business as it has always been a dream
of mine to own a company. But in the meantime, I will be happy to finish my work
and assist in the transition of my position.
