What Is Intramural
What Is Intramural
Intramurals are fun, recreational, social and competitive on-campus sports activities for Bryant University
students and staff. These are designed with the everyday athlete, just like you, in mind. This is a great
opportunity for you to have some fun and to try that new sport you've always wanted to learn! We have
everything from the traditional sports like soccer and volleyball to less mainstream sports like field hockey
and dodgeball.
It's easy to get involved. For team sports it's best to put your own team together. What better way is there
to have fun with your friends or to meet new people? Put some signs up in your dorm, department, or
apartment inviting people to play on your team.
The Department of Athletics and Recreation offers you a full program of organized competition in a number
of events throughout the year. Intramural sports are: softball, volleyball, wiffleball, basketball, soccer, flag
football, field hockey, dodgeball, and floor hockey. Intramural activities emphasize group spirit and the
enjoyment of sports in a less competitive context.
Help us provide you with a rewarding recreational experience by sharing your ideas and encouraging others
to be active. Our staff will be happy to help meet your recreational needs while providing a friendly, helpful
and safe environment. To contact us please write imleagues.com/bryant.
