Eligibility Criteria
(a) What are the eligibility criteria for the assessment?
- Open to all Engineering students across pre-final and final year of graduation and post-graduation in
India
- Suited to those with less than 12 months of work experience
(b) What are the eligibility criteria for offer?
- Selection is based on assessment scores and individual interview performance
- If you are graduating in the year 2020, you will be eligible for 2020 fulltime (Analyst) offer
- If you are graduating in the year 2021, you will be eligible for 2020 Summer internship offer
*In the event that Goldman Sachs visits your campus for internship and/or fulltime recruitment, you are advised to
apply through your respective campus placement process.
Registration Process
(a) What is the timeline for registration?
You can register for the online test from July 29, 2019 9:00 a.m IST to August 17, 2019 11:59 p.m IST
(b) How can I register?
Please follow the below steps to register:
- Click on the Register now page here
- At My GS Events click to register as a new user
- Enter all your details and click on Submit**
- Once registered as a new user click on Register for Events
- Under “Place of Study,” select India
- Select and click on the Engineers Campus Hiring Program to register
- Enter details to the questions asked and click on ‘Submit’ to complete registration
**While registering: If your college/university is not reflected in the selection choose “other” in the
dropdown and mention your school’s name in the free text box
(c) Can I take the online test more than once?
No, you can take the test only once. Each submission of the test is evaluated basis the email id and student
id captured during the registration process
(d) I am Non-Indian applicant – how can I apply for Goldman Sachs?
This program is open to citizens of India currently. You can apply to Goldman Sachs using the careers
section on www.goldmansachs.com
(e) I am an Indian student studying abroad – am I eligible to apply for the program?
Yes, if you hold a valid Indian Passport you are eligible to apply for the program
(f) Is it mandatory to upload my resume and college photo identity card?
Yes, it is mandatory to upload both your resume and college photo identity card. Your application will be
incomplete if either/or both are not uploaded
(g) Is there a document type or size limit to upload the resume and college photo identity card?
There is no document type or size limit
Online Test
(a) What is the duration of the test?
The test is of 120 minutes which will have 4 sections and all are mandatory
(b) Which programming languages can I code in?
You can use any of the listed programming languages
(c) Are there multiple sections in the test?
There are four sections
o Section 1 – The coding section will have 2 programing questions (30 minutes)
o Section 2 – The Multiple Choice section will have 10 MCQs (30 minutes)
o Section 3 – The advanced section will have 1 program question (45 minutes)
o Section 4 – The subjective section will have 2 questions (15 minutes)
(d) In case of any power failure/ or accidental shutting of the test window – what do I do next?

Shortlisting and Interviews
(a) By when will I get to know if I have been shortlisted?
We will reach out to you on your registered email id by third/fourth week of August, 2019
(b) What are the next steps after shortlisting?
We will reach out to you on your registered email id with detailed instructions of the next steps of the
process
(c) When will I get my offer?
For any offer formalities we will reach out to you on your registered email id
(d) What will be my compensation?
Compensation details will be communicated to shortlisted students

(f) What will be the job location?
You will be based out of Goldman Sachs India - Bengaluru Office
(g) When will I join the firm?
- If you are a full-time hire, you will join in May 2020
- If you are a summer intern, you will join in Summer of 2020 (2 months internship between March to
July)
