1.0 Introduction
In 2012 shopping is an activity which the customer browses the available goods or
services presented by one or more retailers with potential intent to purchase a suitable selection of
items. Online Ordering has become a major disrupt in the retail industry. Consumers can now
search for product information and place product orders across different regions while online
retailers deliver their products directly to the consumers' home, offices or wherever they want.
The B2C (business to consumer) process has made it easy for consumers to select any product
online from a retailer's website and to have it delivered relatively quickly. Using online shopping
methods, consumers do not need to consume energy by physically visiting physical stores but
save time and the cost of traveling. A retailer or a shop is a business that presents a selection of
goods and offers to trade or sell them to customers for money or other goods. Shoppers' shopping
experiences may vary, based on a variety of factors including how the customer is treated,
convenience, the type of goods being purchased, and mood.
In the present generation there are many instant ways on how to buy products. Going
directly to the store is sometime is a hassle thing to do. You would feel disappointed if the
product that you want is already out of stock. In order to lessen the inconvenience, most business
perform an online ordering system through innovations of technology, some businesses today are
engaging in an online ordering system to help them to easily distinguish the company's product
through advertisement with the use of online technology. There are two main roles defined in the
system: buyers and suppliers. Buyers are users that place orders. They may be employees such as
internal sales people, or they may be free agents acting as re-sellers. Suppliers are the companies
that actually process the purchase orders. They are responsible for maintaining the product list,
pricing and if possible, stock levels this enables buyers to place orders based on accurate
information.
Poni shop business is a social media shop particularly on Facebook. This Business of

In the Philippines, e-commers is mostly being implemented by major retailers and
multinational corporations for bank-to-bank exchange. A number of business-to-consumer
transactions have emerged through the years such as auctions, online shopping, and online
banking (Lacson, pasadilla 2006). This just shows that Filipino businesses welcome this new
opportunity in selling goods since 16% of the population is using internet. This new marketing
strategy will not only benefit those big companies but also the small businesses who cannot
afford to advertise their products. Just by creating a website in a very affordable cost would make
the business grow in terms of sales and enhance the company image as well.
Philippine firms have yet to fully tap the potentials of e-commerce that will help them to
compete in domestic and global markets. In the process of preparing themselves to conduct e-
commerce, these firms will be changing the way they do business. These changes are expected to
have an impact on the welfare of Philippine workers. Most efforts to measure the economics
effects of e-commerce - including those on workers welfare – have focused on the US and
Europe, who are considered to be the leaders in e-commerce. (Roberto,2002) In general, it
discusses the changes in the nature of service Employment demand for these industry, they may
be focused away from agents and blue collared workers, toward higher management and
executive staff.
As Filipinos entered the 21st century, local e-commerce transaction reached php 1 billion.
It shows that there’s at least one billion transaction sales growth annually. If this trend continues,
figures can reach up to php 20 billion as more businesses conduct online transaction. If significant
economic growth take place in the next 10 years, these estimates may even double or triple
(toral,2009)
one indisputable benefit of e-commerce is its ability to reduce transaction costs. For
consumers or buyers, this is most likely to take the form of lower search costs and better
information on products and prices. There could be drastic savings in production and delivery
costs of electronic or digital goods as well. (lee, 2006)

In System Design, our team also ask the owner about what she prefer to add in the web page that
are building. Implementation is the stage where the programmer and graphic artist, design and code

the design of Online Ordering System and how we implement the system. First Situation Analysis
stage is where our team interview the manager and what she prefer what the system will look in
her perspective. Second is we start designing the system with preferred look from the manager and
add some of it. Third is where we implement the system and Monitor how it is. Appraisal stage is
calculating the image the we used and how heavy some of it. Evaluation is last stage where we
check the condition of the design and if we find some error our team must go back to situation
analysis. This stage is cycle.

4.0 Respondents
The respondents of the study will be the Customers (20), Employee (5) and Professional
(5) in total of 30 respondents. The study was made in Our Lady of Fatima University Valenzuela
Campus.
4.1 Results
This chapter presented the data gathered from the Customers, Employee and
Professional. In this chapter, the proponents discuss the results of the software evaluation
responded by the 27 respondents. The data gathered by the proponents were organized with the
use of the statistics and interpreted with the use of the tables.
For the clearer presentation, the proponents presented the findings of the data in graphs
and tables based on the data gathered from the evaluation form from the respondents.
The 27 respondents are divided in (3) different categories, the Customer, Employee and
the Professional. The table shows 71% in part of Customer. 8% in part of Employee and
Professional which means the proponents priority the needs of the customers.
This section presented the analysis and interpretation of the data gathered from the
respondents of the study. The proponents administered a survey questionnaire wherein the
respondents have to rate the proposed system. The survey was measured by the functionality,
reliability, efficiency and maintainability of the software.

5.0 Discussion
This section summarizes the study by highlighting the results and findings conducted on
the topic. The conclusions given were drawn from the outcomes of the software evaluation and
observations on the Online Ordering system for Poni shop., Professional and the customers. More
over recommendations were base from the findings and conclusions of the study.
5.1 Summary
Before proposing a system, the proponents look for a business that still using a social
media for their transaction. upon seeking Poni’s online shop is using a social media meaning they
are negotiating with the customer with social media for transaction and taking phone call for
reservation. Proposing an online ordering system. The Modified Waterfalls Model is a
synchronized and systematic approach in a research study. The proponents use the following
phase: Requirements and Analysis, System Design, Implementation, Testing and System
Deployment.
5.2 Conclusion
The Poni shop is the business that can’t manage their customers transaction, so we made
them online ordering system to keep their records of customer who buy first and know anything
easily. Poni shop need to have a proper process for the reservation.
