Current Scenario

1. Dustbins placed in Pandavleni were already full with garbage. 2.


No regular reviewing and maintance of Dustbin was done causing
the garbage to spill over to near by area and Bad smell. 3. No
segregation of degradable and Non-Degradable waste was
maintained.
4. Few People only take initiatives to throw waste such as
chips packets,biscuit packets,water bottles etc.
5. Lack of awareness among for cleaniness and its impact on
health
Activities (explain briefly)

1. Collecting the waste from entry point (plastics, bottles other things ) on reaching Pandavleni. 2.Collecting
the spillover garbage and dumping them in empty bin which was provided by authorities.
3. Spreading awarness among tourits
visiting Pandevleni (including childrens to Senior citizens) about swachtha ,its implementation and its
benefits on Individual and Environment. 4.
Collected garbage on the way and put it in . 5.
Informing the people about our cleaniness drive and seeking a positive response from them.
Impact Achieved

1. Authorities took our initiatives positively and gave us assurance of regularly cleaning the
dustbin and installing in more dustbins on the way.
2. People appreciated our move and joined hands for cleaniness drive.
3.Pandavleni was much more cleaned and there was restored beauty of it.
4.People acknowldged about implemention of cleaniness and waste segregation (ie degradable
and Non degradable)
Future Scope/ Way forward

By ensuring cleanliness and sanitation (solid and liquid waste management


and making Dharovar's in Nasik waste free
