This document outlines 15 physics experiments to be conducted for a practical lesson plan. The experiments include using various tools like Vernier calipers, screw gauges, and spherometers to measure properties of objects. Other experiments determine values like refractive index, Young's modulus, coefficient of friction, and speed of sound. The experiments involve plotting graphs and applying concepts like the parallelogram law of vectors.

Physics Lab: Practical Lesson Plan
Date Name of Experiments Submission Exp 1: To measure diameter of a small spherical/cylindrical body and to measure internal diameter and depth of a given beaker/calorimeter using Vernier caliper and hence find its volume. Exp 2: To measure the diameter of given wire and thickness of a given sheet using screw gauge. Exp 3: To determine the volume of an irregular lamina using screw gauge. Exp 4: To determine radius of curvature of a given spherical surface by a spherometer. Exp 5: To determine the angle of minimum deviation for a given prism by plotting a graph between angle of incidence and angle of deviation. Exp 6: To determine refractive index of glass slab using a travelling microscope. Exp 7: To find the value of v for different values of u in case of concave mirror and to find the focal length. Exp 8: To find the focal length of a convex lens by plotting graphs between u and v or between 1/u and 1/v. Exp 9: To find the speed of sound in air at room temperature using a resonance tube by two resonance position. Exp 10: To determine the coefficient of viscosity of a given viscous liquid by measuring terminal velocity of a given spherical body. Exp 11: To determine specific heat capacity of a given solid by method of mixtures. Exp 12: To determine Young’s modulus of elasticity of the material of a given wire. Exp 13: To study the relationship between force of limiting friction and normal reaction and to find the coefficient of friction between a block and a horizontal surface. Exp14: To determine the mass of two different objects using beam balance. Exp 15: To find the weight of a given body using parallelogram law of vectors. Revision
