TOPIC.
THE MOST ANXIOUSLY AWAITED MOMENT.
1. The time I´ve been waiting for.
The time everyone is waiting for every year is holidays. It is said that it´s the best in the
year to escape from the daily routine, stress, traffic jams however it could be stressful
due to the plans and the activities that we arrange to do.
My husband always told me that he wouldn’t do any activity on holidays just to relax
and sunbathe. At the beginning, I disagree but nowadays I think is the best decision
nobody has ever taken.
2. Advantages and disadvantages of going of holidays in family.
Pros:
Family time - I mean, of course they can get on your nerves, but family time
is something that should be cherished.
They pay for everything - I’m not saying to use your parents for their
wallets, but if they want to spoil you a little extra on your vacation, I
wouldn’t say no.
Seeing your parents absolutely care free for once - My parents are two of the
hardest working people I know, and they are always stressing about
something. But when they're on vacation, it's nice to see them finally relax
for once. They deserve it.
It’s still vacation - I mean, hey, I’ll take a vacation wherever I can get one
Cons:
The preparation - Something about getting ready for a vacation makes my
mother insane, between packing and not wanting to forget anything, and the
fact that the entire house has to be spotless before we leave. Like OK, Ma.
Adult supervision - Being away at school gives you a lot of freedom, and
when you travel with your parents, they like to act like you’re not away at
school every weekend. So maybe you can’t drink as many umbrella drinks as
you would like.
Overdose of your whole family - When you’re at home, you see your family
but you can always escape to your room and Netflix. On vacation, when they
start to bother you a little, there is no escaping. You are stuck with them in
the middle of the ocean, so bite your tongue and don’t start any drama on
your “care-free” vacation.
Could be used against you in the future - You know the next time you do
something to remotely bother your mom or dad they will pull the “I just took
you on a very expensive vacation and this is how you treat us?” card.
3. What you might do.
If you travel with children you should;
Keep it simple. When you’re flying all the way around the world, it’s
tempting to try to pack as much as humanly possible into your one- or two-
week holiday. You might never visit these countries again
Keep journeys short. Choose your destinations wisely – don’t go for three
cities at opposite corners of the country.
Avoid one-night stays. Families travelling with children should avoid one-
night stays. It’s all just a bit too ambitious to expect that you’ll be able to
travel, check in, eat, sleep, eat again, check out and get back on the road –
AND do a bit of sightseeing in between – without ending up rather fraught at
the end of it.
Choose your hotels wisely. Connecting rooms, multi-room suites, and family
romos and the location
Add cultural experiences. We’ve covered all the boring old logistics – now
for the fun part
Add free time. It’s easy to be afraid of a blank space in your itinerary, but
don’t be! Especially when you’re travelling with toddlers and very young
children, just having time to spend with Mum and Dad is enough to keep
them well entertained
4. Only adults places: is it legal or illegal?
I had always thought that the holidays are to enjoy all the family and, for this
reasons I´ve always go on holidays with all my family. Other people think that it is
better to go alone or in couples but if you did this you wouldn’t spend a good time with
them.
My mother always told me that holidays is the best time during the year to enjoy
with four family and have fun.
I am totally convinced that people are getting pretty quibbling, children have been
playing in the streets for years however nowadays people call the police if they hear any
noise outside. That isn’t fair! Children need to play outdoor and have a great childhood!
That´s the case of only adults hotels. Children are not allowed to stay in. Children
are the future; we must educate them and love them not to discriminate them. We are
aware of bullying at school and we are trying to promote equality among children so I
cannot imagine what they would think when they hear anything about only adults
hotels.
