COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course basically provides understanding of Supply Chain and focuses on management and
improvement of supply chain processes & performance. It is valuable for students who want a career in
operations of marketing, finance, production, or warehousing in a manufacturing or distribution firm.
The course explores important supply chain areas that are pivotal to effective and efficient supply chain
management. We will also investigate topics such as global supply chain design, logistics, outsourcing,
and several other recent supply chain innovations.

LEARNING METHODOLOGY
Mixed methodologies shall be put in practice for comprehensive learning. It includes pedagogy and
andragogy. For this purpose, students shall be involved in discussions, presentations, group activities
and reference studies. Student shall be distributed into groups for mutual discussions; learn how to
share works, prepare team based solution to problems and develop arguments for presentation cum
thesis. Developing arguments shall be taken as core activities of the course on multiple topics for
conclusive literature reviews.
