If one takes a closer look at the alchemy of the achieving person, two distinct
virtues pop up, besides perseverance and hard work. Pioneering spirit and
willingness. Our next inspirational speaker in behalf of the 3rd Congressional
District is the living idiom of a man who happened to be born at the right time and
right place. Coupled with an impressive background , it was not therefore
surprising that he became a devoted public servant. Ladies and gentlemen, help
me in welcoming our Congressman for the 3rd district, Hon. Lorenz Defensor.
WORDS OF INSPIRATION (LGU)
A good word that is not shared with others will gradually fade away and bear no
fruit but when it is shared it lives forever because it is passed on from one person

3RD CDSA LOGO SYMBOL

The 3rd CDSA 2019 logo showcases the nine municipalities comprising the 3rd
Congressional District wrapped in a banana leaf. The leaf depicts the one-town
one product of the host municipality, the tinuom. It is a famous soup dish wrapped
in a banana leaves where its main ingredient is a native chicken, seasoned with
tomatoes, garlic, onion and lemon grass. Basta tinuom ang istoryahan, sigurado
Cabatuan gid ang padulongan.
In addition, Part of the logo is a dragon symbol. It is believed that dragon is the
most potent of all symbols of energy and a harbinger of incredible luck, prosperity
and abundance. It also stands for valiance, self-confidence, perseverance, vitality,
fairness and happiness. Qualities that we want our athletes to learn, uphold and
cherish and this year’s congressional sports association meet.
