Course Objectives On completion of this course, students should be able to:


 Define and describe the basic concepts of operations
management in service and manufacturing sectors.

 Identify and solve problems that are related to the operations of


an organization.

 Demonstrate teamwork as a team player

Course Description This course involves the study of concepts relating to the operations
functions in both manufacturing and service organizations. The operations
process is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling resources
in order to efficiently and effectively produces goods and services so as to
meet the goals of an organization.
