SCRIPT FOR JASTMINE’S DEBUT
RAQUEL: Good evening everyone!May we have your attention please.We are
about to begin Jastmine’s 18th Birthday Party Celebration so please find your seats
and make yourselves comfortable and enjoy the rest of the evening.
Welcome to a night of pastel colors in celebration of a wonderful life for a girl who
is now turning into a fine lady. It is any parent’s pride to see their baby grow
up…grow up to be one fine young lady. This evening, the Daypuyart family takes
themselves into the spotlight as they formally introduce their beautiful daughter,
once a baby now a lady.

RAQUEL: Birthdays are celebrated to remind us of the magical moment of love,
the epitome of a meaning in life, a manifestation of God’s love towards all of us.
In our gathering this evening, we cannot help but be thankful of the gift of person
in Jastmine who has brought us together this evening. This celebration provides us
a glimpse of the beauty and grandiosity of life. And this evening, we shall all have
great time ahead of us as we go through the different parts featured in this debut
program of our Debutante. How about a warm round of applause to our birthday
celebrator, our debutante, Jastmine!
GRAND ENTRANCE SONG FOR JASTMINE
RAQUEL: Such a spectacular grand entrance by our lovely debutante, I would
say.Wow, blooming and lovely, indeed! Saan nga ba siya nagmana? Kay Mommy
ba? Or kay Daddy? Or baka both?Evidently, before tonight, Zhiela has had happy
years in a very happy home. The love of a family will always be God’s greatest
blessing. Sabi nga nila, in life we can have several friends, classmates, and social
circles, but there is only one family who is always willing and ready to welcome us
no matter what. Ladies and gentlemen, to answer the question kung saan nga ba
nagmana si Zhiela, here’s PAPA Zaldy Las Piñas. to welcome all of us to their
lovely daughter’s 18th birthday party.
FATHERS WELCOME REMARKS
JOESEL: How is every body doing so far? Is every body happy?o baka
nagugutom na rin kau katulad ng partner ko? (shout) gutom nb kayo? Oo? Don’t
worry folks at anumang sandali’y makakatikim na tayo ng handa ng ating
debutante,tama ba Zhiela mae?
RAQUEL:Ako ba talga ang gutom?o mas gustom ka Joesel?balita ko hindi ka
daw ng lunch for this event?(answers back)Ganon ba talaga yun?anyway without
further ado I’d like to request everybody to please stand as we say our prayer
before meals to be lead by _________.

JOESEL: While some of you are still feasting on the delicious buffet and the
decadent dessert, we will now continue with our program.
Like a pretty flower that attracts bees and butterflies, Zhiela will be
surrounded by 18 equally handsome gentlemen who will represent the debutant’s
18 roses. This flower equates the traditional 18 roses during debuts.
RAQUEL: The 18 roses signify the debutante’s coming of age. We have now
come to the part of our program that the guys have been waiting for. A chance to
hold the hand of our lovely debutante for a short dance (eto n guys!).
BOTH: So let us not keep them waiting!
JOESEL:Ladies and Gentlemen,the 18 roses with our beautiful debutante!

JOESEL: (In the middle of the father and daughter dance) The father and
daughter dance is probably one of the most loved traditions in any Filipino debut
celebration. This signifies the daughter’s first step to womanhood and the father’s
acceptance of this period in his daughter’s life.
RAQUEL:Attention Mr. DJ may we request the song Perfect of Ed Sheeran for
the last dance is of course reserved to Zhiela’s special someone who made her
heart trembles!ayiee!To dance with our debutant, Zhiela’s 18th roses, ladies and
gentlemen, Mr. Raymond Porteza!
JOESEL: Matapos tayong pakiligin ng 18 Roses ni Zhiela, let’s do some ice
breaker! Let’s call this “How well do you know Zheila?” Gaano niyo nga ba
kakilala ang ating lovely debutant? we have with us a list of trivia or questions
about tonight’s fine lady. The mechanics is just simple. We will read the trivia and
if you know the answer, stand up from your seat. Alright, let’s keep the ball
rolling!
RAQUEL: Wait a minute!trivia ba kamo about this young lady beside us? Well..it
is my pleasure to start up!maybe some of them knows this thing..but i bet..many of
them don’t know how crazy and palaban this girl even before her childhood

JOESEL: Grabeh ang bukingan ngayong gabi! Nag enjoy ba tayong lahat? Seems
like our gorgeous debutant really enjoyed tonight. Zhiela has shared a part of her
growing years with all of us. At sabi nga ni mareng Willa Cather? “Where there is
great love, there are always wishes.” Because birthdays are always new
beginnings, new endeavors with new set of goals, sending birthday messages and
wishes is a tradition especially in our country, where we give high value to family
ties and relationship.
RAQUEL: Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you these 18 Wishers for
our debutant. These are the people close to the heart of our celebrant, and whom
she listens and confides to for inspiring

RAQUEL: Once again, a sumptuous evening to one and all! It is my delight that
you remain and let us rejoice for that.Gifts symbolize ever flowing love, caring and
admiration. Pero bago natin sila tawagin, gusto kong bigyang linaw na mayroon
din po tayong ipapagawa at kailangan talaga nilang gawin para sa ikakaligaya ng

JOESEL: Tonight ladies and gentlemen let us make the night more exciting by
calling individualswho are extremely generous to give our debutante Zhiela a treasure of
monetary value. Theseindividuals are truly blessed that they will be sharing Zhiela these
blessings. But I want to clarify that they will also make a wish for our debutante at

JOESEL: Ang dapat nyo lang paganahin ay ang galing ng inyong mga mata at

SCAVENGER HUNT GAME
JOESEL: Are you amazed with what Zhiela prepared for us? Zhiela is really such
a talented woman, full of art and wonderful ideas for her self and of course for all
the people whom she truly loved.
RAQUEL: The wine symbolizes commitment and triumph. Zhiela is considered
victorious because she is able to reach the debutant age and it is a great time for
this kind of celebration. To toast with her the wine for a long lasting victory of her
life, let us all call in the following special persons who are in one way or another
became a part of her life through thick and thin, ups and downs, right and wrong
and sometimes good and bad times of life. Once again Zhiela’s Family and friends
to be with here for the wine toast. (O hai yo)

JOESEL: At this part of the program, our lovely and stunning Zhiela will blow the
candles on her birthday cake. And to complete that customary practice, let us all
sing joyfully a song I am very sure everybody is familiar with, the happy birthday
song!

RAQUEL: Tonight’s celebration tells me that the best demonstration of gratitude
in response to a wonderful experience like this one can be contained in an

memorable occasion.
JOESEL: And if there’s one person here tonight who is more than grateful to see
all of you, that would be our beloved celebrant, Zhiela Mae. I’m giving the floor to
