MUSIC 362, Listening Assignments 1-4 CONTENTS

(Please note that some of the video links may be taken off-line) You can
listen to any version of these works. Additional versions are also available
on i-Tunes, Spotify, Rhapsody, Apple, Google, etc. There are also versions
on CD available in the Fine Arts Library. Often the sound quality is much
better on these sources than on YouTube. Avoid listening on your phone.
A number of these works have multiple versions listed, offering different
interpretations. Trade off in listening to these. Whenever possible please
follow the scores to the listening. Many scores are available online at:

listen to each example a minimum of four times and note why it is
important from a historical/musical standpoint. Spend time and learn this
music, absorb these great works of art. They can give you empathy, joy
