There are various applications of PEB, as mentioned below: Aiea Cold Storages Ressiseccis Mae Crees ee ttiaticay Peer ia CLE eM a Build ath: uilding length: Tips: It is advisable to keep all bay lengths equal. If this is not possible, maintain all interior bays equal and the end bays equal but shorter than the interior bays. ng Width: Since the roof purlins are at 1500mm c/c spacing make the building width a multiple of 3m. TBT Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings are designed by our architects and engineers solely with customer requirements in mind and within the parameters of the pre-engineered structures. (Our basic architectural measures include: Building Width is the distance from the outside of eave strut of one sidewall to the outside of eave strut of the facing sidewall Building Length is the distance between the outside flanges of endwall The End Bay Length forms the distance form the outside of the outer flange of endwall columns to the center line of the first interior frame columns, The Interior Bay Length is measured as the distance between the center lines of two adjacent interior main frame column which usually range from, 7.5m and 9m to 15m. The Building Height forms the eave height, which is the length from the foot of the main frame column base plate to the top outer point of the eave strut and can measure up to a height of 30m. In the case of columns that are recessed o elevated from finished floor, the eave height is the distance from finished floor to top the eave strut. The roof slope, The Roof Slope is the angle which the roof forms with respect to the horizontal, of which any practical ones can be constructed by our architects and engineers. They commonly are 0.5/10 and 1/10. TBT has minimum roof live design load of 0.57 KN/m2 and design wind speed of 110 km/hr which are applicable in keeping with American codes: MULTISPAN “2” (MS-2) (2 Interior Column) | stmacruesuronraycusrowen ROOF SYSTEM (RS) MONO SLOPE MULTISPAN “1"(MS-1) (1 Interior Column) MULTISPAN “3*(MS-3) (3 Interior Column) Tn MULTI GABLE (MG-1 | _—uacencnos woe =o | LEAN -TO (LT) Porn ete coum sreon MA Srevine INTERIOR JACK BEAM - pL Re Re AE x ie JACK BEAM AT MIDDLE OF RAFTER INTERIOR JACK BEAM ee OD MEZZANINE SYSTEMS a [ conenere sins / wromens) ‘A mezzanine consists of intermediate support columns, main beams, joists and a deck (that is fastened to the joists with self drilling fasteners) £7 £7 # JOIST CONNECTION @ INTERMEDIATE BEAM [i ‘EORANEL seoconae Mezzanine support columns may be square tube sections or built-up sections as required by design \ sez. ce Mezzanine beams are built-up I sections normally sew or ‘spanning in the direction of rigid frame rafters. Our discussion is further limited to interior building cranes. When crane system is required, TBT supply is usaully limited to the supply of column / rafter bracket and the crane runway beams that support the crane system. ROOF AND SIDEWALL FRAMING DETAILS WITH STANDARD PURLIN, GIRT & EAVE. PURLIN CONNECTION, A common practice in the PEB industry is to connect the sidewall girts to the sidewall rigid frame columns in a by-pass condition and to connect the endwall girts to the endwall wind columns in a by-pass condition. The by-pass approach is more practical in endwalls, because it allows cables, pipes, etc. to be laid within the 200mm girt line all around the building. It also allows for a better construction of partial height blockwalls (normally 2.25 to 3.00m high), which are very common in this region.
