BA 2103 Financial Management SS 2019-2020

General Instructions/Activities

Course Objectives:

Deals with the various aspects of finance such as current operations,


long-term finance, investment management, and financial analyses to
accomplish the objectives of an organisation. This includes advances, trends,
and best practices in financial management.

Remaining Topics:

Chapter 12 Capital Budgeting


Chapter 15 Capital Structure
Chapter 17 Working Capital Management
Chapter 19 Multinational Financial Management

General Instructions:

1. If there are things or outputs to be submitted, you are expected that the deadline will
be during resumption of the class, however, if you are free you can submit earlier.
Anytime if you have questions, you can message me anytime.

2. Please try answering the comprehensive/spreadsheet problem and integrated case of


each chapter. I will be giving 10 points each, meaning 20 points per chapter and 80
points all in all, part of your quiz. Deadline is again during resumption of class or earlier.
Once done, you can take a picture and submit it to me. I will send back the answers for
you to see the quality of your work.

3. I will try to prepare the final examination and later I will forward that to you, most
probably during the Month of May.

4. I will upload also the powerpoint of the these 4 chapters.

5. The guidelines for your final requirements( online or face to face presentation):

a. You assume a business. (Describe your business, nature, the legal form,
capitalization and other information like pictures)
b. You will apply four chapters to your business. Your output should include the two
chapters:
i. Financial Statements and Financial Statement Analysis
ii. Capital Budgeting
iii. Your choice
iv. Your choice
c. Learnings and Insights.
d. If given the chance that you will the financial manager, what are some financial
plans in your dream business.
