Polybio 425: Metal Working Fluid Water Soluble Oil

POLYBIO 425 is a semi-synthetic, water soluble metalworking fluid concentrate designed for machining processes like grinding and chip removal on ferrous and non-ferrous metals except aluminum alloys. It provides excellent performance for medium duty machining, good rust protection, high resistance to foaming even in hard water, and minimum filtration needs. POLYBIO 425 has a recommended use concentration of 1:20 to 1:10 depending on the application and shows little to no corrosion of steel, copper or aluminum at proper dilutions.

METAL WORKING FLUID

WATER SOLUBLE OIL PRODUCT BENEFITS

PRESENTATION  Excellent behavior with soft

POLYBIO 425 is a semi-synthetic coolant, designed for machining water & hard water
processes.  Good rust protection on cast
POLYBIO 425 is a concentrate, water soluble. Code ISO-L-MAE
iron & steel
APPLICATIONS
 Grinding operations, centerless.  Recommended water hardness, for the first bath, and to refill:
 Any type of machining by chip removal.  Minimum 100 ppm (mg CaCO3/l)_10°fH_5.6°dH
 Ferrous and non-ferrous metals, with the exception of  Maximum 700 ppm (mg CaCO3/l)_70°fH_39°dH
aluminum 2000 & 7000 series, and copper.

ADVANTAGES
 Performance: POLYBIO 425 is designed for medium duty  Rust protection: Good rust protection on sensitive ferrous
machining operations, on cast iron and steel. materials like cast iron and steel.
 Filtration: minimum 10 µm. Filters of natural polyesters or  Foaming: High resistance to foaming :
polypropylene. The specific design limits filter consumption. This  Low foaming in soft water ≥ 100 ppm ; ≥ 10°fH ; ≥ 5.6°dH
excellent filtration capacity allows preserving a very clean coolant,  Good behavior with hard water
and the performances in time.  No “mechanical” foaming at high pressure
 Friendly usage: Odorless  Degreasing: with alkaline cleaners
