"Carefully observed theological prescriptions constitute the directive of pharoanic


thought as much in mathematics and geometry as in architecture or sculpture. This
fact reveals to us the meaning, unknown until the present, of the process of "putting
into squares" that we call CANEVAS."

"All architecture and all representations of figures or objects are constructed on a


"CANEVAS-guide; resulting from the theological directives of the Ancients, brings
all proportion back to the basic idea. Now, these proportions are in no way
arbitrary but correspond, for monuments, to astronomical principles, and for
figures, to cosmic
functions as they relate to human proportions."

"The anthropocosmic philosophy bases all functions and all measures on the
"crystallization" or "incarnation" of the Cosmos in Man. Humanity is the measure,
the atlas, on which living lands and their astronomical influences are read; it is the
laboratory of all the miracles of the world."

"The choice of canevas is of primary importance through its number,, it must


summarize all the essential, "functional" proportions. The CANEVAS serves as a
stable foundation, formed of whole numbers formed of whole numbers belonging to
functional lineages that, by oscillation, tend toward the repose of the pendulum.
This alternation is the characteristics of all growth and of the maintenance of life in
its present form."

"It is thus as a result of a specific science of the movements and times of revolutions
of the stars, and growth of the earth, that the choice of the numbers of the canevas
could be made. Now that the importance of these lines is known, we can assert that
the "forgetfulness" on the part of the artist that allowed them to survive
is intentional."
