finish the activity. For this objective,
use the Standards of Learning (SOL) 3.5 The student will describe energy balance.

For the first activity the teacher will design an interactive game
in which there is a “cartoon human” and he/she has multiple
food choices surrounding him and starts with a score of 100.
The students will be called on one at a time and have the
opportunity to pick which food/fruit/ or grain they want the
individual to eat. If they decide to give the person “bad food”
such as chocolate he will turn green (like he is disgusted) and
points will be deducted for the bad choice.

The next activity will have students designing a meal for their
day and allows them to make good food choices. By
developing this activity it allows the students to have a mind of
their own and control over what they are eating and putting
into their bodies. **This is the game that is linked below**
