Task 3: Lesson Plan Reflections
In generally, we all realize that the teacher always prepare for the
lesson through create best lesson plan that could achieve her goals.
However, during my lesson period everything worked will because I
was discussed with my MST about my lesson plan to help me to create
best and suitable activities to my learners according to their levels.
Also, I tried my best work to achieve my lesson aims such as, manage
student’s behavior, understand the concept and students able to do
the activities in correct way. Moreover, I used scaffolding according to
Vygotsky theory because he believe that learners learn through
working with a teacher and get a guide to achieving their learning
goals. Also, during the lesson I used formative assessments such as, ask a
question, think pair share, and quiz. Moreover, I asked my learners to show
me their works and if they make clear work, I take a picture of students work
and posted it in the Instagram to show other students the best work that way
encourages other leaners to work hard. Finally, I used several methods to help
my students understand the lesson such as zone proximal development
according to Vygotsky's theory. Also, keep students work as group according
to their level that way was helpful to assess students learning. In addition,
next lesson, I need to improve my lesson through make sure that each
student understands the topic through make suitable worksheets or activity,
especially to low-level students because they need support and guide from
their teacher. Also, I need to improve my English language skills to be more
confident and always try to do my best work as a good teacher.
Reflection
I was teaching grade 1 English lesson about the sequences of the lion
and the mouse story. However, I think it was a good lesson I was
creating interesting activity at the begging to keep my students predict
the title of the story by hiding the eggs under some student's chairs
that was worked well. In addition, I was displaying a story about the
lion and the mouse by using a smartboard that is one of the technology
ways because students get more interest while they look at a picture.
Also, I asked them different kinds of questions that more important
way to me to assess if my students understand the sequences of the
story in a certain way or they need more help. Moreover, I notice that
there are some negative points in my lesson and my mentor teacher, as
well she noticed it too which means I was focusing in more than one
topic, so I was teaching the students how to be kind, but actually my
lesson plan was focus on the sequences of the story that is an area
need to work on it in my future lesson. Also, I should start my lesson by
showing my students key words that could help them understand what
we are studying about such as, begging, middle and at the end of the
story that gives them an idea about the concept of the lesson which is
the order that events of the story. Finally, I think that is important to
teacher make a mistake to learn from it because if we don’t make a
mistake will never learn. Also, I would like to teach more English
lessons in my future to improve the teaching way that could help me to
be more confidence as well.
Reflection
I was teaching grade 1 math lesson about multiply by 2 and 3. However, I
was creating an enjoyable environment to keep my student’s interest
while they learn. Also, I prepare activities according to the students level
that is one of educational method which means the teacher should make
suitable things such as, worksheet, ask questions and assessment related
to the learners level that could help them understand the concept of the
lesson in a certain way. In addition, I prepared every material that could
help me and help my students during the lesson to make sure that
everything we need is available in our classroom. Moreover, one of my
important ways is to remind my students about the rules of the class so
that will keep them avoid miss behaviour. Also, during my lesson, I always
reward my students to encourage them while they learn and work. More
specifically, I notice that one of my improvement way I should focus on it
is to make sure that whole class engages with the explanation activity
which meanwhile I chose one student to solve the question on the
whiteboard the other students should write or count with her because
that way will help them to don’t get bored example, my mentor college
teacher said Shamma you should invite the whole class to count together
to make sure everyone is engaged and understand each step how we skip
count by 7s. Finally, I notice that my lesson goal is achieved because while
I correct their work most of them are excellent, they able to skip counting
by 7s in an easier way but there are a few mistakes, so I really was happy
with my lesson.

Extra activity-(high level students): create spider compound sentence- if the students finish their
work early they will be given a worksheet include spider face with 6 legs and in each leg there is a
wrong sentence so they need to write it in correct way. Then, color the spider in a beautiful way. Lastly,
they should cut the legs out and paste it on the body of the spider.
Notice: there is no middle level of students just high level and low level of learners so there are just to
different worksheet as their level.
Low level: students will work in Chromebook (laptop) and play a game about write clear sentences.
High-level- each student will be given a worksheet include spider face with 6 legs and in each leg
there is a wrong sentence so they need to write it in correct way. Then, color the spider in a beautiful

In this lesson, I am working on how to be a professional teacher such as, be on time, show respect and
work hard because these are important points to myself since when I be on time, I can deal with
everything easily without feel stress. Also, that helps me to be confident with what I teach and how I
transfer the information to my learners on time because the teacher always should take care of her
lesson and focus on time management to achieve the lesson goals. In addition, I believe that if the
teacher shows respect to her students such as, listen to them, help them, and create a creative
classroom environment that helps students love their teacher and avoid misbehaviour. However, I am
working on how to avoid misbehaviour, so I used positive, negative, and punishment reinforcement
according to behaviourism theory. Finally, I will reflect on my teaching what worked well and what I
need to improve and set some aims for my next lesson and especially, develop my English language
skills because it helps me in my future as a teacher to feel comfortable to speak and deal with my
leaners.

how they can use them in their sentence and focus on some sight words

their teacher through working in their activity.

I will make a revision on reading comprehension. However, I will read a short story and aske them

In this lesson, I am working on making my learners able to explain their opinions according to their understanding
of the story and categorizes the sequence events of the lion and the mouse as the story says so I will display the
story on the smartboard and they should listen carefully. However, I will keep them predict what the story title
will be about through playing an activity by using the eggs and I will hide the eggs under a few students chair and
each egg include one word so they should come to front the class and they will guess what the title is through
read the words and order them to get the title of the story which is “The lion and the mouse”. In addition, I will
ask them pre, while and post questions related to the story that way helpful because they are thinking of the
events and what will happen next so learners will understand the story in an easier way.
My goal is to keep my students able to understand the concept of the English lesson and able to explain their
different ideas about the concept of the story. Also, solve the worksheet question which relates to the story
events. Lastly, encourage my learners and keep them interest while they learn and scaffold them if they need my

In this lesson, I am working on making my learners able to solve multiplication questions especially, in multiple by
2 and 3 so I will show them different kinds of steps on how to solve the table of 2 and 3 which mean learn through
the pictures to get the answer and get the answer of multiply by 2 and 3 by addition way. For example, play with
them gumball machine by showing students flash cards of marbells or ball and each ball include question such as,
2x3=,3x3= and 3x6=. Then, I will teach them how we solve it to get the answer in easir way by using balls and
plates and will count together. Also, I will ask some students to teach the whole class how to solve multiplication
questions by 2 and 3 on the board.
My goal is to keep my students able to understand the concept of the math lesson and solve the multiple by 2 and
3 questions in interesting ways and keep my class environment more comfortable to learn.

that, they should color the 6 balls then cut them and paste it on the gumballs machine.
High-level: Students will be given a worksheet include 2 pages the first one students will see 8 different kinds of
multiply by 2 and 3 questions so they should able to solve the questions by drawing to get the correct answer.
Then, color the baker man in a beautiful way. After that, the next page include “ I can show” which means
students will read the problem solve. For example, 3 phones with 7 apps each so they will see 3 phones and they
should able to draw in each of 3 phone 7 apps and count them together to get the answer which id 21.

numbers which mean the basic two number that student should multiply are missing and the answer so
