1.How can you overcome stage fright during a presentation ? Explain.

The symptoms of stage fright are racing heart, dry mouth, cold hands , knocking
knees, blinking eyes, tight throat. There are following points which will help to
overcome the stage fright during presentation.
1. To practice my presentation I will replicate the same scenario that I will face
during actual presentation .
2. Develop your interest in your topic.
3. Practice your introduction of topic several times.
4. Refuse to think thoughts that create self-doubt and low confidence.
5. Relax yourself by taking deep, even, and slow breaths.
6. Make connections with your audience: Smile and greet people, thinking of them
as friends rather than enemies.
7. Do n’t rush your presentation. Start slow and allow yourself time to get into a
comfortable pace.
8. Concentrate on your ideas.
9. Feel good about your presentation and walk up to the dais taking a few deep
breaths.
10. If you have the time, go into a quiet room to close your eyes and engage in a
brief mindful meditation. Allow your thoughts to come and go and focus only
on the sound of your breath coming in and going out. This will relieve  anxiety,
tension and stress .
11. If you see any participants then talk to them so you are being confident and
ensure that you are not nervous.
12. Positive visualization is a proven technique to reduce nervousness or stage
fright on any occasion such as a presentation, an interview, etc.
13. Exercise, eat well, and practice other healthful lifestyle habits. Try to limit
caffeine , sugar , and alcohol as much as possible.
14. Prepare your material in advance and read it aloud to hear your voice.
15. Stop scaring yourself with thoughts about what might go wrong. Instead, focus
your attention on thoughts and images that are calming and reassuring.
2. Discuss the important points to be considered while drafting a cover letter to
accompany a resume.

A covering letter serves the purpose of creating the necessary background to any
submission. The important points to be considered while drafting a cover letter to
accompany a resume are discussed below:
1. DEFINE THE PURPOSE OF COVER LETER
The majority of cover letters are written in response to an advertised job,
there are other reasons for writing a cover letter.

2. PINPOINT RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS

Armed with your research, draw the readers attention on how your
qualifications (hard skills, soft skills, experience, and education) parallel the
advertised role, their corporate goals, product line, internal culture, customer base,
and areas for improvement. Letting the letter be specific and brief.

3. SHOW ACHIVEMENTS IN YOUR COVER LETTER

Emphasize current career accomplishments with metrics to validate why you are
the perfect fit for your targeted position. Avoid repeating verbatim from your
resume.

4. LENGTH IN A COVER LETTER

A cover letter should be between half a page and one page long. By word
count, the optimal cover letter length should be 200–400 words  depending on
your experience.

5. CLOSE WITH A CALL TO ACTION

Simply hitting “send” then waiting ideally by the phone or computer for a
response from the potential employer is not enough. Be aggressive, ask for the
interview! Indicate your intention to follow-up in some number of days then
ensure you actually do what you committed to in the letter.

6. PROOFREADING YOUR COVER LETTER FOR DUMMIES

Thus I advise you send your resume to a friend, relative. It’s always a good
idea to have someone else proofread and provide feedback before sending your
cover letter to a potential future employer.
