Objetivo de la Unidad: Entender información relacionada con vocabulario y expresiones del aula de
clase y de cantidades existentes.
Indicadores de Desempeños: Terminada la presente actividad, el educando deberá:
 Entender información, vocabulario, expresiones de cantidad y existencia de algo en el ala de clase.

 We use the indefinite article A/AN with singular COUNTABLE nouns, never in plural.
 We can write them before nouns or adjectives E.g.: AN igloo in the Artic, AN old BUILDING,
AN elegant boy / A HOUSE by the sea, a happy girl.
 We use AN, before words that begin with V OWELS sounds. E.g. HOUR, angel, Indian OCTOPUS,
Honest, Umbrella, INSTITUTE, English.
 We use A, before words that start with CONSONANT sound. E.g.: Person, boat,
University, Monkey, Uniform, Horse, Cat.
 We never use A/An with uncountable/non-countable nouns. E.g.: Water, oil, SUGAR,
pasta, shampoo, JUICE, etc.
 We use SOME to talk about not determined number of nouns in plural.
E.g. SOME students / SOME classrooms (the exact number is not given)
