Hyperterminal Set Up

HyperTerminal must be set up to communicate with a sensor via a COM port. The steps are: 1. Open HyperTerminal from the Start menu and name the new connection. 2. Select the COM port to connect to, such as COM1. Also select the correct baud rate specified in the sensor's documentation. 3. HyperTerminal will now wait for a connection on the selected COM port. Make sure it says "Connected" once the sensor is plugged in.
