Description
The Auto Recloser consists of two parts :
1. Pole top switchgear unit close to overhead line
2. Control Cabinet at convenient operating height
The Pole top switchgear houses the active components viz., Vacuum
Circuit Breaker, Magnetic actuator mechanism, CTs (or) Current
Sernsors. The overhead line conductors are connected to 6 bushings
provided.
Application
Suitable for rural electrification, unmanned substation,
overhead distribution lines as well as in distribution
substation application for voltage up to 38kV
The Control cabinet contains the Control Unit, which is micro processor based, operating switches,
indication lamps and measuring instruments.
The pole top switchgear and control cabinets are connected by means of a multicore LT cable with ends
suitable for simple plugin arrangement.
To suit application needs, two versions of control cabinets are offered. One has standard 4 shot auto-
reclosing with simple metering and energy monitoring function. The other has comprehensive protection
and metering facilities besides auto-reclosing.
