MOST IMPORTANT
 How to share folders in a same network?
Note :-
 Make sure that both Computers are in a same network.
 Both have an IP address.
 If they are connected through internet, then they have an IP address (by default).
 If they are in a LAN (Ethernet) we have to provide IP address.
 To set / provide IP address:-
 Select network icon from desktop.
 Right click on it, go to properties .(OR press ALT+ Enter)
 Go to left window.
 Click on change adapter setting .(win.7)
 Select LAN icon.
 Right click on properties.
 Select internet protocol (IP V4 TCP/IP).
 Click on properties.
 A dialog box appears there.

 Click ok.
 Click close.
 PING COMMAND :- This command is used to check connectivity between two or more
computers.
SYNTAX :- PING (space)IP address of other computer.
Ex :- Press win logo key +R (for run box).
→ Type ping (space)192.168.1.3
→ Press enter.

 How to share folders :-


Steps I :-
 Open control panel.
 Open folders options.
 Click view tab.
 Go to the last option in the box.
√ Use sharing wizard.
(Disable it.)
 Click Apply /ok.
Steps II :-
 Select folders.
 Right click → properties → click sharing Tab.
 Click on advance sharing.
√ Sharing this folder.
 Click on Permission Tab.
 Select full control √
Read √
Change √
 Click on OK.
 How to access folder from share folder ?
 Press win logo key + R (for run box).
 Type \\IP address of sender
Ex→ \\192.168.1.2
 Open sharing wizard.
 Type user name and password.
 Click OK.
 Data will present there.
 Copy and paste where you want.
 MSTSC COMMAND :- This is used for access desktop remotely.
Step :-
 Select computer and right click go to properties.
 Select remote Setting .
√ Allow Remote Assistance .
√ Allow user to connect remotely.
