Section 1: Review (Approx 100 words)

I have attained many skills to take on board with me throughout my final major
project. I have developed my skills in editing software and I am more confident with
using it now, gaining the ability to add filters and changing the lighting. I gained
most of these skills during the music video unit.
I have learned the basics of how to use ‘Adobe Audition’ thanks to having a
workshop surrounding the software. I am confident with adjusting and editing audio
more now than I was at the beginning of September.
As well as knowing how to use all the appropriate software correctly, I have
improved on my time management and I am a lot more organized now then I was at
the start of the course. This is the most useful aspect and will be very vital to take
on board in my final major project.
Section 2: Project Concept (approx 200 words)
My aim for this project is to complete a short film, based on anxiety. Exploring the
doubts teens have during everyday activities and the voices inside their heads. I
plan on having a unique editing style where in the shot, I will have the actor and the
alter ego(voice) together in the same shot. Therefore, I am going to have to
research how to do this and do some practice shots.
I will only use one main location which will be my house but then include different
rooms in the house for different scenes. For example, I plan on having a scene
where the protagonist is trying to get to sleep but then the alter ego sat on her
dressing table keeping her mind active.
With limited resources, I believe my final product will meet the standards however
could possibly be better.
My aim is to get as much understand of the topic as possible therefore making the
short film accurate. I will do this by making some questionnaires and surveys
surrounding the topic.
Section 3: Evaluation (approx 50 words)
To evaluate, I will be taking time to conclude what I have done weekly over the
course of the whole unit and the completing a final evaluation once my product has
been made.
For filming as of now, I am still hoping to be able to film my short film therefore I will
be listing all the problems I face and the development of the filming process.
As I move onto the editing portion, I will screenshot the development of editing and
how I choose to modify my footage.
