opportunities for variations and manage technical risks.
Support engineering manager in meeting company objectives for engineering and reporting

Liaise with Senior PMs, PEs and Tendering to ensure correct capacity forecasts are maintained
and resource requirements are forward planned.
Ensure all aspects of design, i.e. engineering, manufacture, HSE, cost, form fit & function have
been correctly identified and addressed.
Ensure use of standard products and cost effective project architectures.
Ensure project engineers are producing and maintaining documents in-line with the Clients
Project documentation requirements.
Provide input to Global Product Management on usability of products in system configurations
and input to requirements to improve future product and system offerings.
Demonstrate commitment to safety in design and all areas of responsibility.
Demonstrate commitment to OS and PEM.
Establish root causes of non conformance in areas of responsibility and drive continuous
improvement actions.
Ensure group is aware and compliant with latest procedures and statutory requirements.
Ensure technical expertise is available within groups to support design review process and
mentoring of other engineers.
Carry out subordinate appraisals and ensure development plans in place.
Ensure succession plans are in place for all key staff.
Maintain competent pool of project engineers ensuring adequate training and development.
Provide competitive product technical solution to bid. Allocate timescale and engineering hours
to bid.

Ensure all projects closed out correctly and lessons learned are recorded and actioned to ensure
improvement on future projects.
Duties & Responsibilities to include:-

Identify and select economic oil and gas developments. Preparing the development concept and
making recommendations for implementation.
Managing the interface between the project team and the other departments and developing an
integrated team and work programme.
Leadership of integrated project teams and selected contracting companies.
Preparing and implementing contracting strategies and ongoing management of contract delivery

upgrades and new field developments. The work covers design, definition, procurement,

Operations during installation of topsides, subsea and riser facilities.
Ensuring delivery of the Project Design Basis to the appropriate quality in accordance with
company SHE expectations.
Maintain control over the contractor’s activity to maintain compliance with contract value and
expenditure.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Responsible for execution of assigned projects from proposal to Project Manager

completion.
- Responsible for ensuring that the package for submittal to the client meets all
client requirements. Checks that all client comments have been incorporated. The
PM assures that the package has been through all relevant checks in line with the
QA/QC manual.
- Prepares and coordinates the project schedule and maintains this throughout the
project. Optimizes the use of personnel to achieve the schedule. Forecasts and
