ABOUT US
Spellcast Media Kenya is a theatre and arts
company that focuses on giving talented teens and
young adults fresh from high school an avenue to
grow their artistic talents and reap benefits from
the same.
Our particular focus is on telling the Kenyan and
also African stories of heroes and legends that are
part and part of our history.
Theme for the year:
"In the Spirit of The Music". We will be focusing on
growth in song and dance while expanding our
networks and partnerships.
Mission:
To be a creative engine for quality educational
entertainment by bringing African stories to life
while cultivating a young pool of entertainers.
The Future:
Build young creative stars in theatre and music who
will captivate audiences far and wide with Kenyan
and African stories, while dominating the theatre
and music industry.

These groups work in harmony with each other during a production (musical)
to deliver stories to an audience through music and dance. Spellcast Media
Kenya is also involved in providing entertainment services for interested
parties. This is in the form of a live choir, live band or live orchestra.This
provides opportunities to our cast members to develop confidence and
become better performers.
AUDITIONS
At the beginning of every year, we hold auditions which are open to the public
with the aim of identifying talent that can be cultivated and nurtured. We
audition for singers, actors, dancers and instrumentalists. After carefully
selecting a team, we begin preparations for a concert or a musical
immediately. Rehearsals are conducted every weekend to enable cast
members focus on their studies and work during the week.

Creativity
We encourage our cast members to be innovative by
assigning different roles and responsibilities depending on
an individual's ability.This way, they are able to bring out
the best of themselves by thinking outside the box.
Passion
Our cast inspires audiences through their music. We also
encourage members to undertake any assigned roles with
zeal and perfection.
Teamwork
We always live by the African proverb, “If you want to go
fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” We
encourage the cast members to work together and
develop chemistry in their performances. We enhance
team work by holding rehearsal camps.
Discipline
In every project we undertake, discipline comes first. Each
member of the team is encouraged to exercise respect,
honesty, hard work and punctuality at all times. We strive
to be gentlemen and ladies of character.
Hard-work
Effort and sacrifice are prerequisite to the success of any
project. We are therefore very keen on commitment,
attendance and punctuality of our members during
rehearsals which are held every weekend of the year.
