Error codes C0500 and C0501 on Konica Minolta bizhub machines indicate an abnormal temperature in the fixing unit. To reset these codes, turn the machine off and press and hold the stop button while turning the machine back on. Continue holding the button until the machine warms up, then the error codes will be removed and the basic menu will show no errors.

Error code C0500, C0501 in Konica Minolta bizhub

210/162/163/211/182
Error code C0500 and C0501 means Fixing unit's
temperature abnormality.

How to reset these codes?

To reset Error codes C0500 and C0501, perform the following


steps.

1-Turn the machine "OFF".


2-Press the "STOP" button on the basic panel.
3-Keep the button pressed and turn the machine "ON".
4-Do not release the button, until the machine warm up.
5-After few seconds Error code will remove and machine will
reset.Basic menu will show no error on  LCD screen.This means
error code has been removed and photocopier machine is ready
to use.
