AC Hipot Testers
The HVT Series AC hipot testers are an FEATURES
economical solution to AC field-testing of
bucket trucks, aerial platforms, vacuum ; Compact portable hand cart design
interrupters, breakers, switchgear, and other
electrical apparatus. Models 100HVT and ; Zero start interlock
120HVT offer 100kV or 120kV respectively.
; Single end grounded high voltage test
Both models are handcart mounted for
transformer
portability and come complete with input line
cord, interconnecting cable and ground leads. ; Separate guard and return
The100HVT and 120HVT series test sets are ; Metering accuracy ± 2% full scale
specifically designed in meeting test ; External high voltage divider
procedures of the ANSI/SIA A92.2 1990
specification applied to the insulating boom of ; Triple range voltmeter
work platforms and bucket trucks. The HVT ; Triple range current meter
series assures accurate voltage measurements
using an external high voltage divider, rather ; Fast acting overload circuit breaker
than less accurate primary metering. The HVT ; External interlock provision
series also features a triple range current
meter in the return leg of the high voltage
transformer for accurate current
measurements. A guard circuit prevents stray BENEFITS
or surface leakage from being measured by the
current meter. To ensure safe operation the Ideal for field testing – compact, lightweight and
unit is equipped with a fast acting circuit rugged makes it suitable for field orientated
breaker, zero start interlock and provision for applications
an external interlock.
Operator Safety – zero start and external interlock
prevents high voltage to be energize until operator is
ready
Simple to Use - a minimal amount of setup time and
a simple control panel allows simple testing every time
Accurate Leakage Current Measurement - while
guard circuit eliminates stray leakage currents
