 Two (2) medium length questions, each requiring calculations and
journal entries.
 Answers to be written on paper/booklet supplied by the subject
coordinator

Assessment return A mark will be available on SOLS within 3 weeks. Students do not keep their
papers.
Detailed information Any student failing to attend the midterm test day/time will be given a fail for
this assessment (unless alternative arrangements have been approved by the
subject coordinator prior to the due date).
The test consists of 10 multiple choice questions and two (2) medium length
questions requiring calculations and journal entries. The multiple choice
questions will cover the content in Topic 1. The two calculative questions will
cover topic 2: Accounting for Company Income Tax and topic 3: Property, Plant
& Equipment.
Students must bring their UOW student ID, a UOW approved calculator, and
pens/pencils (no pencil cases or other cases unless these are a clear plastic bag).
No other material will be permitted at or near the students’ desk.
