IMPORT YOUR DATA FROM

GPS DEVICE OR OPEN YOUR


KMZ FILE
RIGHT CLICK AND SAVE PLACE AS
SELECT KML IN SAVE AS TYPE
SELECT THE FOLDER TO SAVE THE FILE AND NAME IT

THEN CLICK SAVE


OPEN NEW FILE IN MS EXCEL,
PRESS CTRL+O
AND GOTO THE FOLDER WHERE THE KML WAS SAVED
THEN SELECT ALL FILES AS SHOWN
THE KML WE SAVED APPEARS IN THE BOX.

SELECT IT AND CLICK OPEN


CLICK YES
CLICK OK
CLICK OK/YES IF ANY OTHER MESSAGE APPEARS.

THIS FILE OPENS UP AS SHOWN


SCROLL TOWARDS RIGHT IN THE SHEET AND TILL BOTTOM UNTIL THE
COORDINATES APPEAR AS SHOWN.

SELECT THE WHOLE COLUMN “ns1:coordinates”


TO SEPARATE THEM GOTO DATA TAB

THEN SELECT TEXT TO COLUMNS


CLICK
NEXT.
SELECT COMMA AND UNSELECT TAB

CLICK NEXT AND FINISH


CLICK OK IF ANY MESSAGE APPEARS.

THE LAT/LONGS GET SEPARATED IN COLUMNS. LATITUDE

LONGITUDE
COPY AND PASTE THE LAT/LONGS ACCORDINGLY
