With reference to above cited subject, the submitted Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam ( Grade-II)
Mix design with M/s. Deshmukh and Company ( source Mohangaon, Jamuna Infra Projects) , VG-30
Bitumen from M/s. BPCL Mumbai and found in order and confirming to section 500 of MORTH table
500-16 specifications .

The test results on coarse aggregates Bitumen and Marshall Mix are presented in table-I and Material
source, Percent Proportion & JMF are presented in table-II and found satisfactory.
You are advised that if source of any constituent changed, the mix design shall be revised and tested for
satisfying the strength requirement. Prior to start of Bituminous work you are also advised to submit Plant
Trials , laying Trials and the methodology adopted with list of equipment, proposed to use for batching ,
mixing , transporting and placing.
