EPISODE 1

Synthesis. Students in Ritdha Wittayakom are divided based on the ranking of their

grades. Students with good grades are in classroom 1 and gets a lot of privileges

from the school while students with the lowest grades are in classroom 8 where they

don't get as much good things as the students in classroom 1. As the placement test

draw near, Nac (from C1) and his bestfriend Pang (from C8) tries to cheat by looking

at the test papers in advance so they can both be in The Gifted Program - the most

privileged and advantaged class. Pang got in the program while Nac failed. The

students from the program tried to learn about why they were chosen to be there.

Analysis. The school is discriminating students by dividing them based on their

grades and by giving top students better treatment that students with low grades.

Like how Nac and other students from classroom 1 gets to have their breaktime

earlier than the lower students, they can use better facilities, access to the school

wifi and the likes, while his friend Pang has to deal with the opposite.

Learning Insights. After watching this episode I realized that I have the same

questions in mind as Pang. And I know a lot of students can relate to those

questions. We are trying to figure out why the schools care so much about having

great students but we also feel like the teachers don't understand us. We are also

trying to figure ourselves out and some schools can help you mold yourself into the

person you are destined to be while some schools will mold you to be the person

they think you should be.

Policy Recommendations. I wouldn't discriminate students based on their

intellectual abilities. We now have the Multiple Intelligence and it is important to keep

it in mind when dealing with students. Fairness is very important.

EPISODE 2

Synthesis. Students from the gifted program are slowly learning about their potential

and it's connection to the powers they are starting to develop. Wave, a student good

in math and computers gained the ability to control devices just by touching, is the

first one to actually figure out what he can do. Ohm a funny and bubbly student and

is also Pang's friend in the program, tends to lose things and forgets where it is. Ohm

got into trouble when he lost his old friend's bag containing stolen test answers. He

then tried so hard to control his power and bring back the things he made to

disappear.

Analysis. This episode shows the importance of knowing the value of something.

Like what Ohm said, "Everything fades away as time goes by. But if you recognize

its value, you will bring it back every time. If you don't think it's important, you can't

see it even if it's right in front of you.". Like Ohm and Folk's friendship. Bullying was

also shown in this episode when Folk tried to beat Ohm up inside the bathroom. The

traditional way of punishing students with long hair by cutting their hair in the office

was also shown.

Learning Insights. I've learned how important it is to not forget what something

means to you. Also how we should not forget the friends who had our backs when

we had none.

Policy Recommendations. It is really important to have a proper dress code inside

the school but I don't really agree with humiliating the student by using a razor or

cutting his hair inside the office. We can always try to contact the parents guardian to

tell them about the problem. Bullying is also shown here and this issue is very active

in schools, we should always monitor the students' behavior and cut the thought that

one of them is superior.

EPISODE 3

Synthesis. Namtaan, Pang's new friend and a girl who can see the past through the

things she touch, wear, or use, is a sick girl. Every time she uses her power she

either feel weak or she would pass out. While in the library doing their research on

their potentials, Namtaan, Ohm and Pang was looking through the latest version of

The Gifted Program's yearbook when they stumbled upon something rather curious.

A student from 2006 was torn of the page of the yearbook. Namtaan and Pang got

curious about who this person is and why he was removed. They were told by Mr.

Pam that that student resigned from the program because he can't keep up, he even
gave Namtaan the student's old belongings so she could confirm that that student

resigned and also to practice her gift. Then Namtaan found out that that student

found out the secret of the school and someone took care of things so that student

won't tell everyone about it.

Analysis. Valuing her parents decision Namtaa didn't actually made a huge fuss

when her mom decided that she should transfer out of the school. This trait is very

important even in our country. The value of friendship is also portrayed, believing in

oneself and believing in others, like what Namtaan showed Pang when he was

feeling down about not finding his potential.

Learning Insights. Seeing as Pang still hasn't found his potential yet, I can imagine

how frustrating it is for him to be surrounded by people who knows or has an idea of

what they are good at. Sometimes we focus and keep track of how well other people

are doing that we lost track of how we are doing. But good thing we have friends who

always got our backs and encourages us to keep pushing forward and reminds us

what we need to do and what's important.

Policy Recommendations. During classroom elections, we usually elect someone

who has very high grades or who's parents helped a lot in the classroom but I think

choosing someone who has good leadership is better than someone who has high
grades.

EPISODE 4

Synthesis. Being able to see other people's feelings through colors, Claire used her

gift to her advantage by digging up dirt on her co-actors in the drama club. Claire

used to be not as beautiful as she is now so she worked hard to keep her past a

secret until a suspicious account leaked her ugly picture online, threatening her

image now as a beautiful student. She tried to find out the person behind the account

which made her paranoid around her co-actors in the drama club. With the help of

her friend Korn, Claire realized the importance of acceptance so she then turn the

situation to her advantage. Claire found out that her friend Pangrum was the one

behind the account.

Analysis. For me this episode talked mainly about the golden rule. "Do not do unto

others what you don't want others do unto you". Since Claire made the drama club

turn againts each other by digging up their secrets, the same thing happened to her.

Learning Insights. I've realized the meaning of the pharse "those who mind don't

matter and those who matter don't mind". A lot of people can say bad things behind

but you just have to brush them off cause those people who matters to you will not

care about what other people think because they know who you really are.
Policy Recommendations. Encouraging students to join different school clubs is

really important for them to enhance their talents and potentials. Also supporting the

students when they have their plays, performances, and competitions is also

important because this will boost their morale.

EPISODE 5

Synthesis. Trying hard to get his father's attention and affection, Punn, a

perfectionist, has the ability to copy and do things just by watching and observing

other people do it. Placed under pressure for the Academic competition, Punn was

chosen to compete on all categories of the competition. Having to learn every single

thing, he developed the Multiple Personality Disorder. He was so immersed in trying

to be the best in everything that despite having the feeling that he is changing, he

still pushed through with learning every thing in one blow. Claire, Punn's girlfriend,

tried to help him and got him out of a very dangerous situation.

Analysis. Fairness is lacking in this episode because the director didn't even

consider having other students compete. But Mr. Pom actually cared about Punn

that's why he did the psychological test on him where they found out about the

disorder and prevented Punn from taking his life

Learning Insights. We all want to be good in something but being good in

everything has it's consequences. Keeping your mental health on track is crucial for

us to live a healthy and happy life. Also, the more we try to do things to make other

peoplee happy, the more we forget that our happiness and health is what's matter

most.

Policy Recommendations. When competitions like the one in this episode comes

to the school, it's important to make sure that a student can only compete in 2

categories at most. They can be exhausted and drained from all the pressure and

stress. Keeping their mental healthy well is as important as keeping our bodies

healthy.

EPISODE 6

Synthesis. Mon, a member of the martial arts club is a girl with the gift of being good

at martial arts. When Pang was sent by their director to Mon, he saw what she can

do and decided to stay a while to see the club practice. While in the Gym, Pang saw

his old bestfriend Nac, he was a member of the club. While in the gym they heard a

scream coming from outside, it was Jane, another member of the club. When they

went to see her she was acting weird, like she was drugged. They took her to the

infirmary where Mr. Pom found out that Mon's sweat was the stimulant and is the

side effect of her gift. The whole club then started to go wild after smelling Mon's

sweat. In the end all the students from the club were taken to the hospital and Mon

decided to quit. On the other hand, Pang went to the gym after all the incident and
found Nac beating up Duke, the guy they suspected of drugging the members of the

club. They had a heated conversation which ended up in them fighting. When Pang

got a hold of Nac's hand and told him to do something really crazy, Nac immediately

obeyed him, and Pang finally realized his potential.

Analysis. Honesty is very important when it comes to working with other people.

Same as what the Martial Arts Club experienced. You can't have teamwork without

trust and honesty.

Learning Insights. I've learned that we should all be honest with each other. How

can we see what we are doing wrong and adjust if people won't tell us. Also, we

should have a strong mind and a forgiving heart when we listen to people who are

angry. Whenever we are angry we tend to exaggerate a d carelessly say things

which would end up hurting someone else's feelings.

Policy Recommendations. Having team building activities are important not only in

school clubs but also inside the classroom. Students should build a strong

foundation with each other so they can work effectively and better.

EPISODE 7

Synthesis. After Claire rejected his feelings during the play, Korn, a student with the
gift of not having to sleep for 24 hours found himself being alone more than ever. He

then met a girl who he think is as weird as him. Korn and Koi became closer as the

days passed, and eventually Korn fell in love with her. Claire tried to warn Korn

about the dangers of opening up about the program but he just told her off. Thinking

Koi is the only person who cares for him, Korn revealed all the secrets of The Gifted

Program. Koi then copied all the information, and was about to send it to her friends

in the news club when Claire and Pang came in and stopped her, also with the help

of Wave. With the weight of what he has done, Mr. Pom was about to suspend Korn

when Pang used his gift and changed his mind.

Analysis. Unfairness is still shown this episode. The idea of dividing students by

grades and abilities does not encourage students to study but rather make them

think lowly of themselves. Like how Koi felt when every weird instance that

happened in the school involved a gifted student, and the school seemed to be

covering it up.

Learning Insights. I've learned that when we are in our lowest point, and someone

came and offer us help, and love, we either reject it without giving it a chance or

accept it without thinking about it. We depend on people so much that we lose or

sense of judgement.

Policy Recommendations. Again, dividing students based on their grades and

abilities is not very good for the students. They should be equally placed in every

classroom so they can help each other.

EPISODE 8

Synthesis. Midterm examinations started and all the students worked hard and

studied. The students in The Gifted Program took their tests in their own classrooms

and that night they also took their exam with their fellow gifted students. They were

sent on a mystery hunt inside the school which is actually about how the program

started. Whoever gets the highest point in the exam gets to talk to their director in

person. They were given 4 hours to finish and Wave ended up in the top spot. Still

curious about a lot of things, Pang searched the library to find more information

about the people mentioned in the mystery hunt, he then found out the rather

disturbing truth. He was called to the directors office since he gained extra points for

finding out the truth. Pang then opened up his feelings about the unfair treatment of

the normal and gifted students. The director found out that Wave was listening to the

conversation.

Analysis. Still honesty is lacking. I think that it's really disturbing how their school

would cover up a lot of different things just to protect the gifted students.

Compassion for the students' and understanding their needs is also not portrayed by

Pang's school.

Learning Insights. Not being able to accept the fact that someone else might be

better than you at some things can really be stressful and depressing. Like how

Wave is trying to bury everyone down just to show that he is the best, but then Pang

won against him and that placed a lot of stress and pressure on Wave's shoulders.
Policy Recommendations. If a student has done something wrong, no matter if

he/she is the best students in the school, he/she still deserves punishment, unlike

how the director covered up a student's death just to protect a gifted student. Also

having equal feelings for everyone will lessen the chances of jealousy and

misunderstandings between the students.

EPISODE 9

Synthesis. After being pressured for not being good enough, Wave got frustrated

and threw his computer out. Meanwhile, someone sneaked into the warehouse and

stole some handyman tools. Mr. Pom invited Pang to ask for his help regarding the

sneak in, they are suspecting that Wave might have done in. Mr. Pom then called

Wave to the office and told him that the computer set he requested would be

delivered that night, he also told Wave to get his wound covered up. Wave went to

the clinic where Namtaan was, they only had small talks until Namtaan mentioned

something that reminded Wave of a person from his past. Students has been doing

careless things like breaking in the focus and trashing it because of a program that

gives them rewards if the do it successfully.

Analysis. The teachers from when Wave was in the 8th Grade was lacking Open-

mindedness, Respect and Motivation. The way they downgraded Wave just because

he is a student really got in the way of Wave believing in himself.

Learning Insights. The way the students think of themselves also depends on what
the teacher thinks of him. If the teacher insists that a student is stupid, then that

student will lose interest in wanting to excell and just settle on what he is cause he

thinks he can't do anything to be better.

Policy Recommendations. Always encourage the students to answer and correct

the teacher if necessary. Teachers are not correct all the time. Also help the students

in enhancing their talents.

EPISODE 10

Synthesis. The app created by Wave caused havoc in the school. Students are

breaking chairs, causing destruction, and are harming not only students but also

teachers. Pang and the rest of the gifted students were gathered in the auditorium

and was locked inside they all received a notification that the Gifted program will be

released to the public. Pang made a plan to stop Wave so they split up and tried to

find him, as they enter different rooms they realized that it was a trap. Mon on the

other hand found out where Wave was with the help of Punn. After confronting

Wave, Mon went to their classroom and saw Punn and Pang hacking the program

Wave made. Namtaan used the bandage she place on Wave to find out his

whereabouts and she left it for Ohm to find. Namtaan found Wave in the attic and

tried to stop him but he wouldn't budge, that's when Ohm and Pang appeared and

got a hold of Wave. Pang used his gift to make Wave stop the program. Wave was

suspended for a week. Pang went to the rooftop to talk to Wave and they found

themselves forming an alliance against the unfair school system and the director.
Ms. Ladda finds herself in trouble for slapping a student amidst the chaos in the

school.

Analysis. Putting so much pressure on a student who is already trying his very best

can make him fall off the edge and do careless things. Having good friends by your

side can help you overcome even the toughest challenges.

Learning Insights. Even if you are the most talented person in the world, you can't

still be happy about everything. Without friends, you can still feel lonely even if you

are surrounded by thousands of people.

Policy Recommendations. Always give students time to relax and focus on their

self-assessment. Always tell them that you appreciate everything they do and you

know they are doing their best.

EPISODE 11

Synthesis. The semester is now coming to an end and the director gave the

students in the Gifted program a task to write down what they think their mission is

as a gifted student. Some of them appreciate their gifts while some of them don't.

Pang and Wave didn't write anything because they both think that having such gift is

unfair. Korn and Mon asked Mr. Pom to have their gifts removed since they only

want to live a normal life. Pang and Wave started their plan to bring the director

down by digging up dirt on him. Pang used his power on Namtaan so she can

remember what happened in the warehouse when she collapsed. They found out
about a folder containing Chanon's files. Ms. Ladda helped them by giving them the

folder. When Pang got back to his room and called Wave over but as he entered the

room Mr. Pom was waiting for him. Mr. Pom asked for the folder and as Pang was

reaching for Mr. Pom's hand, the teacher used his gift on Pang, revealing that Mr.

Pom's gift was erasing peoples memory.

Analysis. The view of Mr. Pom and the director about only pushing the students to

develop their gifts without taking the students feelings and health in account makes

the students suffer. Not only the Gifted students but also normal students.

Learning Insights. Teachers and faculty often don't see the struggle the students

are facing that's why sometimes it's easier for them to put pressure on the students.

Same with what happened with Wave, he was already a good student but the

director pressured him that's why he turned against the school system.

Policy Recommendations. Always be fair with each and every student. Don't force

them to do anything that they are not comfortable doing. Encourange them to do

things that they are good at.

EPISODE 12

Synthesis. Wave came in to Pang's room only to see him standing still. Wave tried

to wake Pang up and asked him what happened but he doesn't seem to remember.

Fearing something like this would happen, Wave told Pang that he installed a hidden
camera in his room. They reviewed the footage and saw that it was Mr. Pom that

erased Pang's memory. But he wasn't able to erase everything because he was in a

hurry. The next day their finals exam started, they are sent to find different school

badges hidden everywhere. Pang and Wave planned to use that time to find

Chanon's folder that Mr. Pom took as he was erasing Pang's memories. Mr. Pom

went to burn the documents in the warehouse but Pang and Wave came up with us

plan on how to avoid Mr. Pom's erasing ability. In the end, Mr. Pom found out that

the document inside the folder was his friend's document. Chanon was willing to take

the blame for his friend but Mr. Pom didn't know. After learning about the truth Mr.

Pom decided to help them. Meanwhile, Namtaan left Ohm to find Wave and Pang.

As she left Ohm was attacked and was injected in the neck by Ms. Ladda.

Analysis. Chanon showed that he was a very dependable person when he decided

to take the blame instead of Mr. Pom. It takes courage to accept the truth and it's

good that Mr. Pom found it in his heart to accept that he was wrong for what he did

to his friend.

Learning Insights. We can make rash decisions when we are panicking or when we

are about to get in trouble but we should still think rationally and not do things

carelessly.

Policy Recommendations. It's fun to let students go on treasure huntings like the

badge hunt in this episode, this can wake the spirit of adventure inside every

students.
EPISODE 13 (Finale)

Synthesis. Pang and Wave decided to reveal the true colours of their director in the

meeting held with the ministry of education. Wave hacked into the system exposing

every dark secret the director covered up and Pang came in and persuade the board

of education that their director never cared about the students except for those who

are in the gifted program. Hearing such accusations coming from a mere student, the

board didn’t believe Pang and they even thought that it was just a presentation

prepared by the director. After the meeting Pang got caught and he found out that

the director’s gift was the same as his and that they can’t harm each other. Ms.

Ladda was roaming around the school at that time injecting serums on the gifted

students believing that that serum would normalize their gifts but to their surprise, the

serum was fake and it can’t manipulate the gifts of the students. The director then

manipulated Mr. Pom to erases all of the Pang's memories. Pang and Wave then

bumped into each other in the cafeteria where Wave dropped Pang's Gifted Badge,

at the back was a map to the exclusive computer room for the gifted students where

Pang watched a video of himself telling the story of how he lost the fight against the

director. Pang gained his memory back and met with his classmates in The Gifted

classroom.

Analysis. The board of education and some of the teachers we’re not open-minded

about something a students would say. Like in a previous episode where the teacher

can’t accept the fact that she was corrected by the student. The way the Deputy
Head of education told Pang that he should just focus on his studies without even

listening and understanding what he has to say.

Learning Insights. I know I was having hypocritical thoughts now that the series is

over. I have been saying that there should be equality in every school but as soon as

the director asked the gifted students if they would be willing to give up every

privilege they have for equality and no one agreed, I realized that if I was in their

place, I wouldn’t be able to give up the privileges I am having.

Policy Recommendations. Despite my realizations about equality, I think if we can’t

stop the system of dividing students according to grades, maybe we should just let

every single student use all the facilities equally. Not only those who are in higher

classes can use the computers but also those who are in lower classes.
