III. PROCEDURE:
A. Routine (greetings, checking of attendance and classroom management)
B. Review of past lesson on Elements of Fiction
C. Motivation
(The teacher will show a powerpoint presentation of weaving activity featuring a Yakan village in Zamboanga
City juxtaposed with weaving done by spiders as a prelude to the story)
“Are you familiar with the art of weaving? Have you ever witnessed weavers working on their craft?
What can you say about the designs in their finished product?”
D. Lesson Proper:
1. Activity:
 Vocabulary Building: Determine the meaning of the underlined words in the sentences given. Choose
from the list of definitions in the box.
