Citizen M320LC-V Reinitialize and Restore Procedure L16 L20 Machines

This document provides instructions to initialize, format, and load canned cycles for a Citizen 320LC L1620 control that has become non-functional, or "brain dead". The procedure involves reinitializing the control's memory, setting it to English, loading parameters and I/O settings from an electronic backup, formatting the memory, and then loading canned cycles, programs, tool data, and other files to restore the control's functionality. It takes several steps to reset dip switches, enter commands, and input settings and files using the control's interface.

Appendix:
If you get M02 need R.P. RTN alarm message just zero return all axis on the machine
individually. You may need to open up the soft limits if you get alarm M01 0007 while trying to
home out the axis the first time after doing this procedure. After you get the axis zero returned
check home return positions and adjust zero points if necessary by adjusting parameter
