CREATE YOUR OWN SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT


AND WIZARDRY
‘Harry laughed, but didn’t voice the amazement he felt at hearing about
other wizarding schools. He supposed, now he saw representatives of so many
nationalities in the campsite, that he had been stupid never to realise that
Hogwarts couldn’t be the only one.’

In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire readers are introduced for the first time to
wizarding schools other than Hogwarts: Beauxbatons and Durmstrang.
Photocopy the sheet below and hand it out to students, asking them to create their own
School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You could extend the activity by asking students to
draw the school or invent a school uniform.
