BTS Configuration

1. Create and activate the D-Channel links for O&M and TRX

 Create O&M Link (Assume P202O is the O&M link ID)

#ZDSE:P202O:BCSU,1:62,1:64,36-31:;
 Activate BCSU
#ZDTC:P202O:WO;

 Create TRX Link (Assume P2021 is the TRX link ID)

#ZDSE:p2021:BCSU,1:0,1:64,36-30:;
 Activate TRX
#ZDTC:P2021:WO;

 Check the links status by executing below commands

#ZDSB:NAME=P202O;
#ZDSB:NAME=P2021;

2. Create BCF

 Assume that BCF number is 202, DNAME is as created in the O&M link:P202O)
#ZEFC:202,P:DNAME=P202O,::::;
 Check the status of the BCF
#ZEEI:BCF=202:;

3. Create BTS

 Assume BCF id is 202 and BCF Id is 202

#ZEQC:BCF=202,BTS=202,:CI=3299,BAND=1800:NCC=0,BCC=0:MCC=520,MN
C=18,LAC=26214:HOP=N,:GENA=Y,NSEI=1000,RAC=1,:;

NOTE: The following contents can be available in lab support database

CI, Band, MNC, MCC, LAC, NSEI, RAC

 Check the status of BTS

#ZEEI:BTS=202;

4. Create TRX

 Take the D-Channel name and BTS Id from step 1 to create TRX
#ZERC:BTS=202,TRX=1:PREF=P,:FREQ=544,TSC=0,PCMTSC=36-
1:DNAME=P2021:CH0=MBCCH,CH1=SDCCH,:;

NOTE: FREQ can be available in the lab support data, PCMTSL ET36 time slot 1

5. Default Power control parameters (Assume that BTS no. is 202)

#ZEUC:BTS=202:;

6. Default Handover control parameters (Assume that BTS no. is 202)

#ZEHC:BTS=202:;

Update the BTS software build

 Check the software build on 202 Id
#ZEWO:202;
 List the BTS software builds
#ZEWL;
 Attach the BTS software build to 202 Id
#ZEWA:202:NW:CX5_ULTRA:;
NOTE: CX5_ULTRA is one of the BTS software build
 Activate the software build to BTS
#ZEWV:202:NW:;

#ZDTC:P2021:AD:;

6. Check the D-Channel signalling link status

ZDSB:NAME=P202%
NOTE:’%’ takes any single character

7. Delete O&M link (Delete all TRX, BTS, BCF before deleting the following link)
#ZDSD:P202O:;

8. Delete BTS (Assume that BTS no. is 202, Before executing this command lock the BTS)
#ZEQD:BTS=202::;

9. Delete BCF (Assume that BCF no.202, Before executing this command delete BTS)
#ZEEI:BCF=202::;
