First Lecture Series:

Speaker: Mr. Gaurav Sangtani

The 1st lecture series was hosted by Institute of Management, Nirma University for the academic
year 2019-20 on 29th June 2019. It was addressed by Mr. Gaurav Sangtani. He is Vice-President
– Goldman Sachs and also President of Jigyasa Foundation. It is non-profit organization which
brings Curiosity and Creativity into Education System.
He shared his views on Humans in the Age of Artificial Intelligence - Employability Skills.
He also shared the concept of 3 C's that helps succeed in life, that is
 Clarity
 Curiosity
 Creativity.

Second Lecture Series:

Speaker: Mr. Sunil Narula

The guest lecture for 2nd Lecture Series was addressed by Mr. Sunil Narula. He is the Vice
President of Marketing department at Panasonic. He has more than 20 years of experience
crosswise over Sales, Brand Management and Product Management.

He shared his learning and bits of knowledge about the significance of Television

International. He has been part of various industries, across various regions and has an experience of
more than ten years.

He talked on the topic ‘Career is a trek to the top and not just a sprint to the base camp’. Sir has
begun by sharing his experiences in the corporate world and his voyage from b-school days to the
corporate. He emphasized on the way that there is definition of success. Each individual has its own
definition of success. According to him, one cannot compare his success with another one, if you achieve
what you aspired then you are successful and this is the thing that makes you a champ. He further
included, "Would what you like to do and not what is anticipated from you."

Mehta. He is Vice President and Head- Central RMS at Reliance Industries Ltd. He had
experience in the field of Banking and Quality Professional with a showed skill in structure and
arrangement of Quality and Governance systems in the Banking and Oil and Energy ventures, He
is proficient in Change Management, Business Transformation, Risk Management, DMAIC,
Quality Management and holder of different standard expert accreditations – CAAIB, Six Sigma

Day-1
Utkrishta 2019 is the name of Management Conclave of Institute of Management, Nirma
University. It was organized by 5 clubs of IMNU: Niche – the Marketing Club, Imprintz – the
HR Club, Clique- the IT Club, Optimus – the Operations Club and Finesse – the Finance Club of
IMNU.

The theme for the conclave was “Managing Organizations in the Era of Transformations”.
