INTRODUCTION

School Year 2017-2018 was a year of various substantial


achievements. It was a fulfilling year marked by multifarious projects and
programs initiated at the

___ with the very supportive school officials, administrators, teachers, support
personnel and other government and non – government organizations.

This Annual Accomplishment Report begins with DepEd


Philosophy of education and its vision and mission statement which provide
direction to our educational efforts and endeavors. It also presents the direction we
have taken towards expanding our youth’s access to education, our initiatives at
improving the quality of education, promotion of teachers’ welfare and the
implementation of various DepEd programs and projects which usually emanate
from the top level management and collaboratively supported by other entities and
line agencies. In the spirit of teamwork and commitment, we propel to accomplish
great and noble tasks but more significantly, it is our innate duty to accomplish
small tasks as if they were great and noble. As expressed meaningfully by Disraeli,
“The secret of success is constancy of purpose”. In ____________________, we
believe that only the BEST is good enough.

VISION:
We dream of Filipinos who passionately love their country and whose
values and competencies enable them to realize their full potential and contribute
meaningfully to building the nation.

As a learner-centered public institution, the Department of Education


continuously improves itself to better serve its stakeholders.

MISSION:
To protect and promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable,
culture-based, and complete basic education where:
Students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe, and motivating
environment.
Teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture every learner.
Administrators and staff, as stewards of the institution, ensure an enabling
and supportive environment for effective learning to happen.

d. Curriculum Development
d.1) Contextualization of Grade 3 Learner’s Material in Science was
conducted last October 27-29, 2017 during the In-Service Training of Teachers in
the school. It was specifically done through a Class Demonstration Teaching in
Grade 3 Science particularly on “Body Senses” which was presented to the
teachers.
