I. INTRODUCTION

e) Describe the Advantages and Disadvantages of Operating a Small Business

2. Preliminaries: Routinely Activity

3. Motivation: Ask the learners to read as short story: Find an Idea.


4. Ask the learners the following question:

a) How do people come up with ideas for new businesses?


b) How do you think they decide if the idea is worth pursuing?

 Discuss the following:

III. PRACTICE

 Divide the class into 6 groups. Each group will identify a business in their area which became successful
due to innovation. Write about the role played by innovation in its success.
 Prepare a list of five innovative products or services currently introduced in the market.

IV. ENRICHMENT
