The effect of typhoon Ondoy was also very evident in the ratings games. Since most of Mega
Manila households had no electricity, the ratings last week--most notably September 26 and 27--
dropped significantly with most shows posting below 10 percent ratings.

TNS National TV Ratings (Sept. 25-28): Tayong Dalawa ends on top, Lovers In Paris opens
modestly

It's a sad but happy farewell for ABS-CBN's powerhouse drama series Tayong Dalawa, which
was topbilled by Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu, and Jake Cuenca. After its eight-month run,
Tayong Dalawa bid farewell last Friday, September 25, with a very strong 45.8 percent to lead
all primetime programs.

This is according to the latest overnight ratings of Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) among national
households.

Tayong Dalawa was replaced by the Pinoy adaptation of the hit Koreanovela Lovers in Paris,
starring Piolo Pascual and KC Concepcion. Its pilot episode generated a 27.4 percent rating to
take the fourth slot in the primetime race, behind fellow Kapamilya programs TV Patrol World
(35.7 percent), May Bukas Pa (31.8 percent), and Katorse (30.3 percent).

Two GMA-7 afternoon soaps also debuted yesterday: Kaya Kong Abutin Ang Langit and Tinik
Sa Dibdib. The two shows posted 11.5 percent and 11.4 percent ratings, respectively, to take 8th
and 9th spots in the daytime race.

The effect of typhoon Ondoy was very evident in the ratings last Saturday (Sept. 26) and Sunday
(Sept. 27). Because most of the areas did not have electric supply, the ratings of all programs
went down. The regular programming of both ABS-CBN and GMA-7 had to be scrapped to give
way to the latest updates on the typhoon that killed more than 100 people at the time.

Here are the comparative ratings of ABS-CBN and GMA-7 programs from September 25 to 28,
based on the overnight ratings of Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) among national households.
