EXERCISE:

1. SUMMATIVE: What is the difference between the historic Rizal and the symbolic
Rizal?

The historic of Rizal was Jose Rizal, Rizal is a person have knowledge
or learning and skilled in both science and the arts. This Philippine
patriot, writer, and poet was executed by the Spanish colonial
authorities in 1896 for dazzling and insulting the authorities with his
liberal political ideas and fights with his pen.

The symbolic Rizal represents all that Jose Rizal stood for, including
nationalism, democracy, political liberalism, free expression, and
heroism.

2. FORMATIVE: Give a symbolic representation of Rizal which you think must be


the way that Rizal should be understood today. Representation should be in a
word phrase.

1. Find as many memes in the internet about Rizal and explore their meanings, be it
sensible or not. Get that the catches your attention and state your comment in 2
to 3 sentences.

2. Create your own meme on Rizal based on how you know and look at him at this
current stage of your learning of the Rizal course.

Dahil sa pagmamahal ni Rizal sa atin bansa handa nya ibuwis ang kanyang buhay para
magkaroon ng kalayaan at binago nya ang buhay ng bawat mamamayan sa bansang
kanyang kinasilangan. Hanggang sa ngayon ay itinuturo ito upang hindi natin
makalimutan kung ano ang nagawa at naiambag niya satin.
