1. Are Bull's Eye and Bushmaster morally responsible for the Washington, D.C.

victims' deaths? Why or why not?

On this point we consider that the manufacturer Bushmaster Firearms, lnc. Is not
morally responsible for the Washington D.C. victims' deaths, because manufactures
Bushmaster delivers guns to several stores like Bull's Eye, also giving the responsibility
for the proper use of its products

Instead Bull's Eye if morally responsible because it did not have the necessary
precaution to deliver weapons, in addition to violating a law, selling weapons to a person
with a history of violence and a minor, promoting the fact as the use of gun that were
buying would not be for a good purpose.

2. Are gun manufacturers or gun dealers ever morally responsible for deaths caused by
the use of their guns? Explain.

Regarding the case discussed, we conclude that the gun manufacturers are not morally
responsible for the deaths caused by the use of their weapons. The opposite happens
with gun dealers, because they have the responsibility of selling weapons in
accordance with the provisions of federal law.

In addition, we must always act in line with the 3 conditions that qualify us as morally
responsible for our actions (causality, knowledge and freedom)

3. Are manufacturers ever morally responsible for deaths caused by the use of their
products? Why or why not?

In our analysis as a group we to conclude that manufacturers are not morally

responsible for the deaths caused by their products because arms sales to distributors
is subject to strict control and it is difficult to obtain a gun or rifle without permits,
additional this only manufacturers deliver their products to authorized dealers control
entities, must be made by selling inventory and specifications of each product.

For us they are morally responsible for the deaths are direct sellers who supply
weapons without asking permission deporting weapons.

One of the mechanisms used to get illegal weapons, is the theft security guards, police
and military personnel, but this is not the only way, the contrary is the most basic, and
most weapons get it in the illegal market that feeds among other routes for traffic
coming from other countries in addition to a systematic theft to the armed forces, are
believed to be military personnel involved in this illegal

Recommendation

What should be done is agreements, recommendations and programs for the use of
weapons, raise and formulate public policies to reduce the incidence of armed violence,
it is important to be able to establish mechanisms which can articulate concrete actions
that bring not only the material disarmament of people, but also disarmament of
consciences, therefore work in building a culture of peace.
