Checkpoint & Rollback Show Hardware Inventory & Serial Number
checkpoint checkpoint_name Show hardware inventory with serial numbers:

VDC Commands - Nexus 7000 Only Environment Commands
Show VDCs: Display environment:
show vdc show environment
Create VDC: Display temperature:
vdc vdc-name show enviornment temperature
Assign interfaces to a VDC: Show fan environment:
(within the VDC to which the interfaces will be allocated) show environment fan
vdc vdc-name Show power usage:
allocate interface ethernet #/# show environment power
View ports allocated to a VDC: Display system redundancy status:
show vdc vdc-name membership show system redundancy status
Switch to within a VDC: Display CPU and Memory usage data:
switchto vdc vdc-name show system resources
switchback (use this command to exit the VDC)
Module Commands - Nexus 7000 Only
Display the status of a module: View the resources of a specific module:
show module (# ) attach module #
Identify line card using LED: show system resources
locator-led module # exit (use this command to exit the module)
no locator-led module # Shutdown a supervisor module (for removal only):
Power off an I/O or Interface module: out-of-service module #
poweroff module # Power cycle a module:
no poweroff module # (use to restore power) reload module #
Power off a Fabric module: Purge module config (module must be off or removed):
poweroff xbar # purge module # running-config
no poweroff xbar # (use to restore power) Switch over to redundant supervisor module:
Shutdown a Fabric module (for removal only): system switchover
out-of-service xbar # vPC Commands
Interface Commands Show global VPC status:
View the type of transceiver in a SFP port: show vpc
show interface Ethernet #/# transceiver show vpc brief
Port Channel interfaces: Show VPC peer status, role, MAC address & priority:
