ACTIVITY COST: Php 14,300.00

SOURCE OF FUND: GENERAL FUND

BACKGROUND/RATIONALE:

E-BPLS or Electronic Business Permits and Licensing System application software is a


system that allows business owners to file their application for business permits online and
enable the LGUs to process the applications electronically. The E-BPLS implements business
processes based on the JMC standards and therefore shortens the processing time and provides
up-to-date information on the status of applications to the business owners and to the LGU
users.

OBJECTIVE:
1. To set up schedule of fees, or the rules governing computation of collection for business
taxes, fees, and charges.
2. To reduce time and resources spent by LGU in the BPLS process.
3. To increase business tax revenues.

PROJECT DISCRIPTION:

The proposed activity includes technical support during the database build-up and
implementation of the system, and the process of endorsing the application or giving clearance
on such application based on the filled application form, documentary requirements, existing
records for renewal in compliance with the existing local and national laws.
